Great video! Casio really packed a lot into these new models. So glad to see them going back in the direction of their old MZ-2000. The price on them is amazing!
I've heard the acoustic grands and the e.p. s for the wk series. No holds barred, they're stellar for a keyboard at this price point. The tone editor is the bag of tricks. This keyboard is above average for it's price point.
P.S. Your great demo took under 10 min to clearly explain the features of this keyboard and how to use an ipad with it! compared to another demo by B (BABBLE ON) Hansen which took nearly an hour to babble on and show off his playing skills! this is an hour of my life I can't get back! So thanks again! wish I had seen your demo first! :)
Hi, I decided to buy the CTK7000 after comparing the Piano sound with Yamaha PSR i425. The Yamaha Piano sound was very unnatural than Casio's. My music teacher had recommended me a Yamaha but when he played my new Casio, he was extremely impressed! Learning the technical stuff was not difficult, things like Tone/Song editing, MIDI setup with my PC, etc. were easy and fun. And yes, 7000 can record guitar and vocals to SD. I would recommend it in this price range (Rs. 19K in India). Cheers! :-)
Actually, if you're looking for other sounds it won't be Cakewalk or Steinberg as mentioned; those are DAWs for recording/editing what you play. What you want is a software synthesizer for your PC, controllable via MIDI from the keyboard. Korg M1 at $49 is a steal, but there's literally tons out there, search for "VST Synth" and find relevant sections at online retailers like Musicians Friend. Most all have demos or even trial versions you can download before buying.
@kosmicmi As I understand it recording vocal and guitar and storing it to SD card is also possible on the CTK 7000. I bought one from Kosmic a few months ago. The main difference between the two is that the WK has more keys(76). Correct me if I'm wrong please
2019 and this keyboard still is giving me more functional ability to create music than my other 3 key boards combined for gospel music. I use the sequencer everyday, my inspirations that would have gone undocumented.
An excellent demonstration, very clear & informative. I have seen so meny demos wk75,7600 but not satisfied, now i came to a clear idia what can i do with this keyboard thanks once again.cheers
Kosmicmi Hello, can you help me with a question about CASIO wk7500! when I use casio keyboard as MIDI controller plugged into a USB port on my computer the "sustain pedal" does not work, this is normal in this model wk7500? The sustain only works with iPad? Or so it would be an existing defect specifically on my keyboard? The "sustain" only works with the native sounds existing in itself and not with casio VSTi synths. Can you help me?
Please, somebody help me. Anyone knows how many audio files it can play from the sd card? Also, is there a length limit for those files? I'll really apreciate your answers! Thanks.
My biggest problem with Casio Keyboards and this ( WK-7500 ) is no exception! If you turn the volume of the keyboard to 0. You would hear a banging sound from the plastic keys. Casio needs to silence this noise key issues. I pefer Yamaha because they don't have this problems with the keyboards I buy from them!
thats how i feel, I never liked the casio piano sound...It would also be embarrassing to be on stage with the CASIO name on your keyboard, however, I do like their watches.
when will keyboard demonstrators understand that we who uses autoaccompaniment keyboards want to hear THE STYLES!!! Why on earth do you talk so much? and then show some sounds?! re-think your presentation strategy, please! - Levi
No. HT-6000 is the last arranger Casio I would ever consider. HT series was stunningly beautiful compared with this. All keyboards are the same now? Feel cheep, look ugly, start with sound categories Piane, Elec Piano, that's just simply plain boring.
Great video! Casio really packed a lot into these new models. So glad to see them going back in the direction of their old MZ-2000. The price on them is amazing!
Outstanding review Jared...best I've seen yet on this particular keyboard...
the best review of this instrument, very powerful presentation
The best youtube presentation on Wk-7500. I am watching this for the Wk-7600, 5 years later.

Great Demo, no BS or hype. thanks, very informative!
@kosmicmi

Fantastic! Thanks for the review.

@goodperson24 CTK also has SD card slot and Mic and Instrument slot. Same as WK 7500. Just different size keyboards.
@MeeksMusicInc ..that's the sound tone from the ipad...not the wk7500...
May be to some ears, but Pattern Sequencer is completely unique to Casio and sets it apart from everything else in the price range.
So well done mate. no waffling, trust an Aussie to do a really good demo. ;)
Excellent review. Very Informative.
I have more rspect for my WK 7500 now, thanks!
@kosmicmi It records, but I can't find where it you can record vocal or inst to a track. Which is what a song writer needs to do.
Wonderful piano !!!
@kosmicmi - Just to be sure, is that the ONLY difference between the 7000 and 7500? Need to know the details between the two to decide.
I have one special unit here, it doesn't sound like yours! Not only is it out of tune but the loops go flat also!
im a piano leaner...which one should be better for me? casio wk 7600 or casio wk 7500?
Neither. Both have light keys, not good for piano playing. Better look at the Privia line of digital pianos.
I just bought casio ek 7600..and i am happy with it
What is the difference between the WK-7500 and the WK-7600. which one should I get?
Sorry if you asked this already but if I record audio from the keyboard onto the SD card, can I play it back on my computer as an audio track? Thanks!
the sound of the grand piano in the 6500 is the same on the 7500???
The ctk 7000 has 48 polyphony, the 7500 has 64 polyphony so you can have more sounds without losing tne quality. i have both and they're both great.
An excellent demonstration!
Anyone know how to recording Mic Audio to a Track? Wk-7500. Or even an Inst. I can't seem to find it in the manual. Get tut here.
i have a question, can you also plug an other tablet pc as example samsung galaxy tab ?
Awesome! Helps a lot!~
Hey, is the same as the wk 6500? the wk6500 also records guitar and vocals to the SD card?
Hi can you use all the dsp effects if you plugged in a guitar?
Kosmicmi Hello, can you help me with a question about CASIO wk7500!

so you can plug a guitar or e-guitar and record?
Please, somebody help me.

I'll really apreciate your answers! Thanks.
how do you store/save sounds?

wat the diffrent sound quality with wk 6500??
what kind of action of keys is here ?? (looks like piano - graded hammer)
Unfortunely no. I got into that trap and bought it, and it has really cheap and light plastic keys. Dont do glissandos- i ripped 3 keys of that way
WHAT IS THE THING ON YOUR MUSIC RACK...I HAVE A CASIO 7500
It seems to be a good keyboard.
How is the WK-7600 different?
is it just me? or are those keys "Clicking" like crazy loud
Why do you not play any styles? it is after all an arranger keyboard, isn´t it?
how much was it
@08crash6 Dollar for dollar, Korg has nothing comparable to what Casio is offering here.
em termo de teclas é o mesmo tamanho dos outros arranjadores
esta faltando só isso para que eu compre um
casio is good for children to learn
You are right. My bad
Som ting wong with casio.Absolutely no customer service and still no double keyboard models.
muito bom
thats how i feel, I never liked the casio piano sound...It would also be embarrassing to be on stage with the CASIO name on your keyboard, however, I do like their watches.
Senkyoo
болтает много ,показал бы чего нибудь !!!!
would be an iPad :)
Hey there cut yuo not Play som rockmusik on yuo keybord
Try to be a movie actor. You have a villain look 😂😂😜😜
Ar
My friend! You talk a lot and shows little. As I do not understand English, took almost NOTHING! Still, the video is very good. Thank you.
XD
when will keyboard demonstrators understand that we who uses autoaccompaniment keyboards want to hear THE STYLES!!! Why on earth do you talk so much? and then show some sounds?! re-think your presentation strategy, please! - Levi
yamaha is better, the sound of this casio is very sintetic
poor sound for an expensive keyboard I prefer yamaha´s
These keyboards are rubbish the sound that they produce from the key aint from a normal keyboard so u cant play songs nicely eg. Titanium
plays too hard
very bad keyboard

These are crap, but the MZ2000 is an awesome workstation. The WK3xxx series are good boards too.
