How did you first discover Tigercub?
My boyfriend. Listened to perfume of decay.. and I asked him "why does the music fall down?" I love every song except for that riff. I don't know why. You can clearly notice the metal influences. Jamie's singing is also really unique, and as someone who sings armaturely themselves, .. it's impressive just how much control he has.
Plus, the music is so perfectly uncanny.
Spotify recommendation, the first one I heard was You, and it hooked me instantly, I loved their sound 🖤
Heared it in store at my local HMV on the 30th June 2023 and was just so encumbered by their sound. ('It Hurts When You're Around')
I went to chevelle last night in Graceland and Tigercub opened for them. A week before the concert I got really into them and I got to meet them after and get a signed Perfume Of Decay vinyl. They were the nicest people I’ve ever met. Jamie drew a tophat and cigarette on the skeleton :)))))
Brilliant interview. Props to the interviewer with such great and probing questions. Thoroughly enjoyed the answers and the insight to their influences, the way they approach writing and producing songs.
