Thank you for mentioning semantics. I have watched four different people do the same thing and call it by four different names. I appreciate that you stressed how similar these things can be. Thank you, as well, for sharing your incredibly beautiful journals. They are simply yummy 😊

loved your video !where are you that it is cold?
@@StonewallArabians hi Stephanie, thank you. I live in Hawke’s Bay New Zealand 🌸💙
You have such beautiful journals but I’d caution that it looks like book mold on your front inside cover. As a librarian for over 28 years, there are ways to remove it but unless the book is valuable it’s usually not worth the trouble. And it can spread to your other books. It will smell musty and your pages will start to disintegrate. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. That said, thank you for all your valuable information on tipping. I learned a lot!
@@claudialane6648 thanks so much for watching Claudia 🌸💙
Yes, semantics, and no, we don’t really care, BUT… There needs to be at least a loose definition of terms. I saw video a few weeks ago from a newerish (define that term! 😂) creator and journal maker, and the title was something about a “No sew journal!”, and someone had, rightfully so, commented and pointed out that it wasn’t no sew at all, it was bound using the usual 3 hole sewn binding. She had responded and said “I didn’t sew anything in this journal, that’s a very common book binding technique”. Lol girl!! But typically when we say no sew journal, we mean no sewn binding. Right?? That was MY understanding at least, and apparently the commenter’s as well. So it could be kind of misleading to not have these terms somewhat defined and well known. It was a gorgeous journal, though. 😋
Hi there, yes fair comment. Agreed, no see means no seen binding 😂. What’s she on??!! lol.
Thanks for watching and your comment.
