For an 8 year old device, its design pretty much blends New and Old together!!
Galaxy S7 was the goat back in 2016 and it still worth as second device
I’m using it as my third device
I STILL have mine, too!
S7 camera is better than my oneplus 9rt main camera
My brother had his s7 when my mom first bought it. He still uses it to this day
update: he upgraded to a s24
Any smartphone after 7series by samsung are really good the only bad thing is that they stopped the update(which is what they do to attract people from buying their new devices)
I'm keeping it for the heart rate sensor since all the phones since S20 don't have it. All other apps are deactivated so the battery lasts for a week :D
I'm using a samsung galaxy s7 rn in my opinion I think it's amazing I love it so far
I still have mine, too! I love it!
@@SantaCruzHappy1does it support 4G network?
@@azraadole363 Yes, because I listsen on my Samsung 7 (that is 8 years old)!
I had this phone in 2018 and 2019. I loved it. Was a fantastic phone. Headphone jack ended up breaking on it but other than that, phone worked perfectly. Battery lasted a long time.
My headphone jack broke on my S7 too! 😭😭😂
Who here is still rocking the s7 in 2024 ? 😅
Slow ass phone 😭😭
Just bought it😅
still my main device
I still have it not because I need it or anything because I like to have ANCIENT pieces of technology.
@@amaziahhamayun4208 why would you buy an 8 year old phone 💀💀
Honestly, you had the opportunity to take some photos and videos outside and you just… recorded a wall?
Oh boy, what a nice phone this was.. well built, great display and camera and fast fingerprint sensor. I had one for 3 years 👍
I use the heck out of mine and it's still operates like new. Pics are great and I load it up. When I hit maintenance I'm at 100%. One great thing is that it has fallen off a train and gone completely underwater a couple of times and is dust sealed as well. I should keep it as a backup, right?
My Samsung 7 is still going great! I purchased it in 2016!!! Everyone thinks my photos are from a really good 35 mm camera!
What a terrible video, u sound like u don't even care the phone you're reviewing
No need to watch his video. The answer you should not get Samsung s7 in 2024. Done
NOOB 😡
Actually I have the S7 from about 7 years ago and it works more or less as good as the note 8 I have
I just ordered one-
I wouldnt get anything older than a Samsung S8. The S7 to the S8 was a MAJOR upgrade so the S8 is a way better buy. Also it could be found for under $100.

Best phone S6,S7 and edge versions 🎉❤
Lol, almost 8 years and I am still rocking the s7
[commenting from my S7] Honestly, it's not an inherently "bad" device. In my opinion the more egregious offense is the presence Micro USB instead of Type-C, seeing as it was already being implemented with some "flagship" Android devices by this time (first/most specific example that comes to mind is the Nexus 6P -- despite the fact that it unfortunately had the infamously atrocious SD 810). Idk, it doesn't seem like it would've been a poor choice considering the Note 7/Galaxy S8 immediately followed the S7 & had Type-C ports. But yeah, the S7 has definitely aged much better than you could argue for many devices that are 8+ years old. Especially in the display dept; it's insanely vibrant & crisp (though I'd imagine being a 1440p 5.1" panel definitely helps). I don't even mind the upper/lower bezels, in fact it's such a compact device that it makes me genuinely miss having a primary phone that can be used one-handedly (although my iPhone 14 Pro that I currently have as said primary device gets pretty close to being completely usable with one hand). All in all though, I most definitely agree that the S7 is NOT a suitable candidate for daily use in 2024 & beyond, even if it's given to you for free with unlimited cellular service. Most units (like mine) also likely have severely degraded batteries, and it hardly seems worth the money/effort to do a replacement on such an old device in the first place. Now if it was a removable design (looking at you, LG V20 with a $11 replacement battery that gets used solely as an MP3 player thanks to the glorious Quad-DAC it has) THEN just maybe it'd function decently enough as a WiFi-only or media device since it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, wireless charging (if you don't have a spare Micro USB lying around these days), and support for expandable storage. Lol, this comment only became laggy to type 3-4 times. Need to retire this damn thing already, but it just refuses to die completely
Watching this on an S7 right now! Sep 29, 2024.
If you have a S7 laying around. Dont keep it. Trade it in at Samsung for $50-100 dlls credit and get an A25 or A35
why would trade it for such ugly phones
yeahh!! let's throw out our s7 flagships which were worth like 700 dollars at launch and get an awful budget phone which is worse then the 8 year old flagship phone instead!
How’s the app support on it?
Samsung galaxy S7 was my favourite Samsung phone Samsung had ever released
I think it's worth it but I've been using it since 2016 with no issues this phone was ahead of its time
mine is extremely slow for some reason
Any custom Roms? For s7?
Yea
Use Lineage OS
Project Elisir, based on android stock, it is beautiful to see, and it also improves the performances
To me, it's a decent budget spec phone, and still maybe a bit higher than that. Only the OS holds it back. Maybe a Go version of something more modern for a rooted phone would cut it.
I had this before the Note9!
😃👍🏽
perfect back up device
I was able to get some good photos with the s7 edge using Lightroom app back when it came out the picture's aren't bad by any means also such a great phone as well never had issues with it lol
Simply no
Dawg is it better then a iPhone 6?
Anything is better than i-Shit
Yup. I had an iPhone 6 before I got this device and the iPhone 6 was atrocious. Battery didn't hold a charge at all. Full charge lasted me under an hour usually. Would last me an hour at most. Galaxy S7 was a much better phone and it held a much better charge. I liked the Galaxy S7 way better than the iPhone 6.
Much much better
Much much, more apps are supported
Yeah bruv
My Friend has the same Phone and he's playing Brawl stars on it
My fav is s7 and s7 edge but idont have the edge only s7 exynos
I have broken lcd s7, is it really worth to repair and use it in 2024? I think i only use it for 1 year at least she still can handle it
worth used for 60 pounds?
😝🤪
it works. Rock it!
