What I really like about you is that you take your time with Jinjer... the more time you take, the more you realize what a fantastic band Jinjer is! This band is unrivaled in the music world out there, and there are some very good bands... warm greetings from the german musician
Upcoming album seems to be kinda melancholic (in a specific Jinjer's way of melancholy) yet heavy. But Jinjer has a bunch of in-your-face songs. Especially in their earlier stuff. But yeah, there are only two released Jinjer's songs with all-harsh vocals (another one is also a single Jinjer's song with full Russian lyrics). If you are interested in some more in-your-face Jinjer songs, then try: - Sit Stay Rollover (OMV / live in Melbourne) - Who's Gonna Be The One (live at Atlas) - Scissors (OMV) - Желаю - Значит Получу (I want it I'll get it) (OMV) - Words of Wisdom (OMV / live at Atlas) Just a few which I prefer more.
@@glebivanov6323 I feel like that has to do with the war, sadly. Yes, so much more to discover and you reminded me that I haven’t done anything live yet. 🤔😮 I mean I did Audiotree, but that was in a studio environment.
You won't see many old interviews with Vlad or Roman, their English progressed slower than Tati and Eugene and they weren't comfortable doing English interviews. The fact the have been learning and chiming in more often makes me happy. I love hearing from them too!
@@kirillzaslavskiy4616 Thank god we don’t have to and can just enjoy it in it’s entirety. 😁 I just put all the songs I’ve listened to until no in the queue and listen to all of them, at the moment. :)
Can’t tell you how enjoyable it is watching you on this journey. I was never massively into metal before Jinjer. They’ve completely changed my world. And I’m with you 100% about needing the ear to fully appreciate, and grabs something that can’t be fast tracked. 🫶🏻
like you pointed out its not for the "untrained" metal ear 🙂 Very complex track and as i mentioned on Jinjers official site - i love it, but i am worried live. Think that the room and stage must be big and the sound very great. Otherwise i think "Rogue" will be chaotic, muddy - and just noise.
Cool reaction. This is only the 2nd officially released song in their discography to date with harsh vocals only. Putin is the specific rogue they have in mind in this song, which amply explains the relentless aggression. No doubt, there's no shortage of rogues to whom the song applies. I was pretty lukewarm on this song at first, but it has been a grower for me, and has become the first all harsh vocals song that I've enjoyed. I *love* it, especially the dissonant chords, the two groovy sections in the middle (the riff is *wild* ), and Tati's guttural "RRRROGUE!".
@@hemlock399 Oh, that’s good to know, I for sure thought there would be more. 😮 Now that you say it, that makes a lot of sense. Politics in my country are going in the same direction at the moment. Sometimes it feels like we live in a time of rogues… Makes me happy to see people stand up against it tho, if through music, actions, talk, whatever…, everything’s important.

I can't choose my favorite song, I like all the songs from the new album. Besides, there's not a single song by Jinjer that I don't like.

There is another new song that is 100% harsh vocals. Fast Draw... they played it live this summer. Another brutal one
