I absolutely love this - I totally want to learn that! I love being able to sing these great songs despite having a female voice. Go gabby you rock girl! And to everyone who says she's not you totally missed the point - she's not supposed to BE him but instead learn to sing in the style of him and give it her own expression. Singing is not about copying but rather learning the technique and then add your own expression.

@@rickgrabneck347 There is jsut certain voices out there that can't be matched. It has nothing to do with range or pitch that makes them unique. I never though anyone would ever sound close to Freddie Mercury and then marc martel came along and even though he sounds so close he can't manage to do what Freddie could. I have yet to hear anyone sound close to dio. I boil it down to this.. You have singers that try to hard to be singers and then you have singers who just love singing and don't care what you feel about their singing.

I also think it would be cool to see her with a raw rockin' band doing an all black sabbath tribute. I think she'd really be kickin' with that bro. At any rate, I really enjoyed listening to her. I remeber her being SECOND in our (Czech) Superstar or what the show was. I wished her to be first - as a rock/metal fan which was her main direction that time. Maybe the second place was her luck because the winner probabely had some contract he had to obey (advertisement ...) - I've never heard of him again. But she got much farther then I've ever thought. Absolutely deserved!
You are right Ken there is no one can do a Ronnie James Dio song without him singing but my god all credit to Gabriela for singing a great song with her powerful voice. 😊

hey Ken. I remember the first time I got that first Shout album. Man I worked my voice to that record every day for a long time. met you at FrontlineRecords release of The Ransom record I believe it was. Man I have not sang since I toured with barren Cross. I have major respect for your vocal abilities and have never taken a lesson. I havent been well but I hope to again sing and this time with proper technique. Gabriella is a fantastic singer as we can hear, and even though I know this is not your wheelhouse, you hit it out no matter what you sing. Some day man. Thanks for the continued inspiration brother.
