Always end up watching all the old videos when I’m chilling at night 👌🏻 been watching since the start of the channel pretty much. Great to see how far everything’s come. Keep up the good work pembertons & team 💪🏻
Eastern Canada here, some of the worst weather I can remember is a sleet storm we had in the mid 80's where we lost power for almost 2 weeks, there was roughly 1.5 feet of ice build up on the roads and so much ice on power lines they just snapped as well as some poles hence the power outage. A few years back we had roughly 24 feet of snow fall over the whole winter, was one of the worst I can remember.
Hi tom, great channel been watching for a while and really enjoy watching your videos. Im nearly 16 and have just started farming, haven’t done much farm work yet but hopefully soon and i have already learnt a-lot from your videos.
tom ex aussie of welsh descent 70 years old living in texas... would love to listen to the ginger warrior and your mother talking about life and farming at the kitchen table... it is so rewarding... you have a talent and excellent opportunity
Loved watching this, we g ad the old manitou, white cab, 4 levers. Used to love doing all the cows and calves. You do have to love it though, or else you don't do it properly. Nice to see your enthusiasm.
Have you got any sheep? We have about 850. I'd sooner get cows again. But not my farm. So keeping the sheep. Really do miss the milking, the beef herd and all the things that went with them.
Watching from Ontario Canada! Have about 12 inches of snow on average. Where the wind has blown it in, its up to your knee or waistline. Running a finishing beef operation. Buy them in at 900 or so pounds. Finish them off around 1,400/1,500LBS. Live on 250 acres. 625 head. With the wind chill the temperature has been -25c to -40c!
Yes, pretty cold and a lot of snow. As for the beef... Keeps my father, Uncle and I busy! As you would know, we try to do all the work, maintenance etc ourselves to help keep the cost of production in line. I'm 35 now. We use to milk a heard of 35 Holsteins when I was younger, but transitioned into beef full time when I was 7. @@TomPembertonFarmLife
Your back wall in the pen reminded me of the saying "It's only temporary, unless it works". That's how it seems to be on a lot of farms, including mine. lol
excellent video as always how can people dislike these videos they are great i am no farmer and dont know anything about farming but i still love these videos this channel is my favourite.
From New York State here (the upper part, Central to be exact). We haven't got much snow on the ground it's been real cold though about 0°Fahrenheit the last few days.
Great video, love seeing the calves jumping and kicking about in a new bed, Tom what is the branch hanging about your head? There’s also one in the calf pens where they were originally.
Thanks for the video Tom we have had the same problem in Australia the ground is so dry that the cattle are not getting a good kick from the electric fence! We have cattle on our neighbors farm the owners sons have started chasing in our cattle with there drones!
Here we are in Georgia USA watching you work hard. Thanks for posting your videos. What do you do with those huge piles of manure when they get as tall as your buildings?
Muskoka, Ontario, Canada in the "snow belt". We haven't got that much snow this year, sitting at a measly 2 feet or so. Southern Ontario only has a few inches but that's pretty normal.

hey tom i got a question whats the stuff hanging down from the top of the barn for seen it a few times always wondered what its for ? and always great videos keep them coming :D
The shot was good. As a townie, am still none the wiser on the workings of that pipe, though! I get it pumps 'muck', but, from where? how? It seems to be a fully mechanised, automatic process...is this an accurate assumption? Cheers! @@TomPembertonFarmLife
You give the calves such a good life. They look so happy 😊
Might be a silly question but, what are the branches hanging from the ceiling of the barns for?
Help with ringworm
