Rage basically created the genre and limp bizkit killed it within the decade

♥ this song! BTW - you might catch some flack for comparing Rage with Limp Bizkit 😳

      Yes.
Much better to compare RatM to Audioslave.

I think it's an astute insight into a probable influence OF Limp Bizkit, since RAtM came first. I had never thought of that connection because I regard the bands in such a different way. RAtM is something that I liked when I was young, and still love. Limp Bizkit was a kind of embarrassing thing to admit ever having listened to, but they were everywhere at the time and we didn't have spotify so STFU lol. Bizkit is definitely an iteration of the same hip-hop + metal lane that RAtM was in. I would never say they sound "like" each other, but the bands are weird cousins.

Keep the Rage coming! Their live performances are great, but only after you do the lyrics first.
Tom Morello is a genius on the guitar, that scratching sound is all him.
Rage is an extremely political band - their music is 🔥 but the lyrics are even better. You can’t pick a bad song to review, they’re all amazing.

Tom morello the guitarist is doing bunch of sound effects like screams, bells, sound of train and all those scratching sounds he inovated that type of playing guitar the most versatille guitarist he was also in top 50 best guitarist ever wich is insane just because of that unique style also you have brad wilk the drummer, my favourite bass player tim commerford and zack mc who is very antigouverment you have to do lyrics when you do rage he wrote the most powerfull lyrics in his 20 militant poetry as he calls it check wake up, take the power back, fist full of steel, freedom, bullet in the head and you will see what this guy does on the guitar they dont have bad track literally 👍

Rage Against The Machine got a new lead singer, Chris Cornell, and became Audioslave.
You should check that band out if you haven’t already.

@@brandonsimmons1695is there some sort of requirements? Like must be around for X years, sell X albums? Cuz it couldn't seriously be it took this long for them to realise they were kind of a big deal.

@@Aughtelyou aren’t eligible until 25 years after your first commercial album. But it still took them 7 years to get in. Lots of deserving bands aren’t in but hopefully soon

you need some bedding and pillows- not sure what you've listened to by them but if you heavenly i suggest mic check or down rodeo- renegades of funk is a must too- and ohhhh no don't compare them to limp bizkit ugggh- and i went thru a little limp bizkit phase but these guys are on another level- zach is a way way better rapper than any other rap/rock fusion band- and tom morello plays the guitar like he's mixing on turntables

    RALLY AROUND GAZA !
Half of the song is about Palestine and the chorus is about the Nakba, how the IDF rally around the families before gunning them down.
Now i know wiki might say otherwise. But why not ask Zack himself, he was on the Gaza march last week,
