    This is a top notch review/flipthrough. Clear and concise.
    I know it's really random to say, but we need more videos on RUclips that are fully narrated like this for those with vision disability. I'm not blind, but for someone who is, this would be perfect content. I'm all about accessibility on RUclips and I wish everyone made videos like this.

      I appreciate your comment, Tiffany. 😊
      I am glad to hear the narration in the video was helpful for accessibility.
      Thank you 💛🌻

      Agreed! Often, I have reviews off to the side while I do dishes, fold laundry, etc, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. So helpful!!

    This looks awesome!! Do you think you’ll continue with Notgrass for next year?

      Hi Rachel! We are definitely enjoying the curriculum. As of now, I think Notgrass will definitely stay our go-to for Highschool level Social Studies. 😊

    My children are using My Father's World for History/Geography/Science and Bible. It is okay but I believe we may use Notgrass next year. Your videos really help me make my decisions 😍.
    Which did you prefer Mystery of History or Notgrass more?

      Hi Fab5 Bailey!
      So glad the videos are helpful 💛🌻
      As far as comparing Curriculum…
      *For World History, our family REALLY enjoys MOH. That would probably be our #1 go-to for World History for elementary & middle school.
      *Being MOH does not have a US History or Civics course, Notgrass has been great for those areas.
      *We also like how Notgrass has their HighSchool courses laid out, so we would probably pick NG for Highschool (but still have MOH incorporated - as we are doing this year with our 9th grader-because we love it that much! 😊)

    Did you enjoy all of the literature picks?

    • @HisArrowsOurHands
      @HisArrowsOurHands  Год назад +2

      Hi Lauren!
      We have gone through the first 10 out of the 12 books so far… We have enjoyed all of the 10 books.
      Out of the first 10, his favorite books were “Know Why You Believe”, “Blood Brothers” and “Lost in the Barrens”
      When I first previewed the books, the only one I decided to not have our son read was the last one (Book 12) “Tales from Silver Lands” because I noticed it was centered heavily on folktales with darker themes around witches, magical creatures etc… which we, as a family, prefer to stay away from. We added other books to his literature time including “The Way of the Shepherd” and a few others…
      Hope this helps! 😊💛🌻

      @HisArrowsOurHands Good to know. I didn't have a problem with that kind of stuff until recently. It's been a struggle (I, like most others, grew up with it so it's a hard blow) and my children are reluctant to part ways with that kind of stuff but we're weaning slowly off of it. I get hate from others for it, including Christians, but ehh it's expected.

    is it possible to do only the geography part? We already have an English curriculum that my daughter likes.

    • @HisArrowsOurHands
      @HisArrowsOurHands  Год назад +1

      Hi Cintia,
      Yes, I imagine you could. It would be an easy adjustment to make due to how the curriculum (and its materials are laid out/organized).
      You would just omit the completion of the Literature/ English portion (Reading of Literature books, Literary Analysis questions and Literature Exams). There is a composition assignment with each unit, so based on how much writing your child is doing in his English curriculum, you could determine how many of these assignments you would like completed.
      As I share in the video, This course is designed to give your child 3 credits. If you omit the English portion, your child would complete the course with 2 credits (One World Geography 🌎 credit and One Worldview 🔍credit).
      Hope this helps! 💛🌻
