You are ligit a life saver! I have a 03 honda pilot and have been searching for a good year now trying to find a good kit and way to supercharge my pilot! You just made my night as now I have a foundation to now get what I need for my honda pilot! I got the J35a4.
Is your 03 FWD or 4WD? the pre-06 models have much weaker transmissions that usually fail much earlier. If you do this, let me know how that auto holds up under load! I'm looking for a good trans option for my 06 because the updated 4wd version of yours still isn't enough for me to run 10psi without ridiculous slip. I think the 4wd version is too complex to properly tune it or turn it off completely at my level of skill.

Haven't had many issues but I'm not gonna promise that it's the best. But when I can get the super charger and all done I will be sure to comment a update

Old pilots are the most durable, rugged, and badass cars ever. My old family car Pilot is sitting in the yard collecting rust right now, someday I want to widebody it and slap a supercharger in the thing and take it rallying.

This is an Eaton M90 off of a GM 3800. There's a ton of them out there for dirt cheap online and scrapyards. They're very easy to get a hold of. There are two different versions of it which the 3800 following refers to as Gen 3 and Gen 5. Any series 2 3800 will have a gen 3, a series 3 3800 will have a gen 5. The gen 5 is better but gen 3s can be modified to perform close to a gen 5 though. Edit: The adapter is for a Gen 5 it seems. They're harder to find (04 - 08 Pontiac Grand Prix GTs ONLY) then the Gen 3s but still relatively easy.
I have a 2017 Honda Accord Touring. The last Accord model with a j35 V6. After I’m done paying it off next year I’m definitely looking into this supercharger

For the NSX you might be able to get it a 1/2 inch lower by face milling the plates and the bottom of the supercharger. You could prototype the plates in wood if you know someone with a planer. Remaking that top plate with countersunk bolts should get you a bit more if that's where it's hitting. Also you could face down the tower that the plate bolts to. Lastly maybe motor and trans mounts.

Super SC install video for a one-of-a-kind Pilot. The Pilot has zero performance aftermarket support so you are definitely onto something here.The EGR pathways in the intake looked like they could use some clearing but since you're EGR-less it may be a non-issue.

@@GloStiq Yes it does, but instead of buying the kit I ended up opting for a project car and kept the accord as my daily driver. However, I also ended up dropping 1k on brand new Enkei EDR9s for it.
Definitely adjustable fuel pressure regulator and crank the pressure or ghetto way just clamp off return line for sure and watch your a/f reading if you have a scan tool that does so will help for a couple psi of boost so it doesn’t lean too bad. Very neat though . Also a infiniti q45 throttle body bolts up to a k series and the wiring for tps will match don’t know if it will work for j series but it’s cheap from a scrap yard you just need the pig tail for tps

Great video very educational learned alot. In addition to all inquiries if this will fit my j35 intake manifold. Yes mostly all j35 have the same intake manifold and bolt on pattern. You can even upgrade to a j37 intake and throttle body just have to customize the location of the intake sensor.

@@ammarmirza6685 I can’t say for certain about my particular year. I have heard they can handle roughly 500 hp before upgrades should happen. I had a peakboost Si civic that was pushing well into the 600 whp range and that was on a stock 6 speed RSX trans. Only clutch was upgraded and it handled it just fine. I do know that the 16-17 v6 auto cars are very crisp and shift literally like a dual clutch trans. Very worst case, if the trans doesn’t hold up, I would most likely look into doing a manual swap on it. Cause nothing is cooler than a 500 hp 4 door race car with a manual to bang through the gears (if it’s even possible)
Don’t forget to run 91+ octane if you are supercharged or turbocharged it’s a must! Also drop to a step colder plugs. I failed to mention that!

Can you get a spacer made to push out that throttle body a little so it sits in the proper orientation? I would probably lose sleep over that 😂

Use the mini tec m90 adapter on the NSX. It deletes the intake manifold.

Well ya EGR is blocked off now due to adapter plate but it the pathways were cleaned up recently but oh well I’ll figure a solution out
Interestingly enough, Saturn used the j35 v6 in at least their 2005 models as an option.
2004-2007 v6 vues were honda powered

Yes, take out back seats + spare + back assembly and save 500 lbs. 2800 lb curb with the J35 supercharged you'll fly past just about everything
