That light has enough pros to it that it would be one I'd be happy to add to the ones I have. The size is great and I love the range it has in light intensity. Love the high candela it reaches too, which is a must for me.
I do love this light but after getting one I realized that most of the time, I want a flood pattern. As good as the P20ix is, I wanted something updated with a newer more efficient LED. Ended up choosing a Sofirn SC33. I do like the Nitecore more, but I just wish they made an identical model to the MH12 Pro that was all flood.
Been waiting for this to decide between this and a new welltool. Loved the P20iX flood but needed a multi use thrower and was better this and a T14C
Hi, can you do a review on the Nightcore EDC 33 please it’s been out a while quite a hot topic. Hope to see yours soon. Cheers from BKK 🙏😎
The beam looks greenish at low levels like fenix tk20rv2. Can you make a comparison between this one and fenix tk20rv2 ? Awesome review 😊
I will try and make that happen mate. The beam is kind of green. But outside and at a distance you cannot see it
La fenix es espectacular! 😍
@@tronicrt en efecto. Sólo deseo que empiecen a proporcionar un modo de luz de luna y acceso turbo instantáneo.
It is green..i have this and the MH25 Pro...
This beam is much more green then the MH25 Pro...
@@ThatCrazyRCGuy67 guess the experimental led has its limitations 🤷♂️.
If you own other nitecore and you have the p10ix NTH10 holster. Can you check if the MH12 Pro fit. Please I would really appreciate it 🙏
I have a trunite tn12 pro, would you prefer the nitecore over the trunite?
Thanks for the review. I'm considering the MH25 pro for the longer throw, but the quick step down from turbo has me considering another option. Can you suggest another option for long throw with longer sustained turbo?
I'm not being asked but just to share. I've done a lot of searching for a high candela, pocketable, tactical light and this MH12pro and its bigger cousin MH25 pro is about as good as it gets without moving to a larger size. MH25 pro gives you over 120k candela in a semi-pocketable size with over 3k lumens. I don't claim perfect knowledge but there is not a light out there in this size that can do that. The lights that do give you a more sustainable turbo output are either too floody (not enough candela and not enough throw) or have a narrower beam (not enough lumens).
Nitecore MH25s and Brinyte PT16 are about this size and will hold turbo longer but still only a few minutes. Acebeam L19 2.0 and Convoy L21B will step down much more gradually but they are bigger and throw much further. The L21B is a steal at around $35.
Convoy m21a SFT40 is the top dog
Hi, do this nitecore I-series 21700 batteries work in this light?
I just used it with the provided battery.
hows the heat dissipation on this mate, its a small head?thanks
It actually did not get very hot man. It steps down so quick that it does not have time to get up too much. I was very happy that it didn't get too hot
Would you still go with the Thrunite TN12 Pro over this?
For practicality, yes. For self-defence or distance, this one is better
2nd NEWEST...MH25 Pro is the NEWEST...
I have BOTH...MH25 Pro is better IMO...
