Matteo is just visiting the earh before returning to his far away galaxie
You mean "guitaralaxie" 🙂
I have never seen a style like this, almost guitar and bass playing at the same time no pick, this guy is amazing.
BRAVO|
Matteo's playing is simply on another level!
Sei l'orgoglio della nostra terra ❤
this!
this man put soul even in a demo guitar show , very focused! he is 30 yrs ahead of guitars players
Matteo always gives his best in every performance, thank you really for noticing and thank you for the nice words, hope to see you soon on our channels again.
Matteo alone raised the guitar bar, accelerated guitar history by 30 years since he broke into the scene unannounced.
He did raise the bar. Stay in touch, we are organising a new masterclass in 2024 - if you are in Italy.
Oh, I wish !...but I'm not really a guitar player, just a hobby bassist. Your instruments are just superb and so inspiring, congratulations !!@@bacciguitars
Thank you - you do not need to play to come and see the artists (as I don't play and make guitars and basses...)
Grande Matteo, sei il migliore.
Il nostro orgoglio italiano. Grazie per il bel commento
Next level ....
Talent and hard work on display ! Awesome 😊
Thank you for the kind words, you are right with hard work you can do anything
Maestro Matteo dancing on the strings has set the bar so high, it may be another generation before that altitude is reached.
Grande Matteo, iper talento siciliano!
what a beast, demon shaped hands that played all the way up to heaven. Matteo, you are my inspiration! Thanks for everything!
That sound is priceless!
Nothing short of incredible :)
yeah baby
Stellar stellar Matteo
Our alien, who came to earth to save the future of the guitar. Grazie Stefano
Thank you for the nice comment, it is not many people to have this deep thought. Sometimes we think that the future of music is doomed but lately there are a lot of young guitarists who impress us, I think in the future we are going to see some good things
I think he sounds even better than usual on this instrument.
good vibes
Jesus……just incredible……this is on a different level. I hope holdsworth got to see this kid play before he passed.
Not sure Holdsworth would've been too impressed except, maybe, with Matteo's blazing technique and speed. Allan appreciated a player's original, non-derivative voice above all else. Let's hope Mancuso develops that.
Dude’s a genius❗️
Thank you Paul, hard work and dedication, and talent of course
A incredible talent
It really makes us proud, thank you for the nice comment
Fenomeno!!!
He is perfectly brilliant! ❤
He is next level , i like it.
Thanks man for the nice words, Ciao from Tuscany
JUST A MUSICAL GENIUS! BRAVO 👏 👏 👏 👏 BRAVÍSSIMO 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
A GENIUS!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏UNBELIEVABLE!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
A great soul.
Man this kid is just phenomenal.
True
This is so badass! Impossible to listen without doing (baritone?)guitar faces. Brutal
Man, you brought back memories of John Mayer's funny faces while playing. It's probably a universal thing among the best musicians. Thanks for the nice comment
Mostruoso.
Grazie Pietro
It’s amazing that he can pluck the strings that fast without a pick. He’s phenomenal and the baritone really works well for his style. Thanks for sharing as I never knew of him and your guitars before this!
Thank you Rich, we have saved this comment
I have something to say, yet in front of a glass of red Tuscan wine
@@bacciguitars Thanks!
Cool modern/vintage styling on that guitar, sounds great!
Thanks!
He's like watching a Freestyle Skier ! Awesome Job !!✌🎸👏
This guy is amazing,he simply stuns the listener, he's brilliant.Matteo thanks
Thank you Joe, a drummer that recognize class of a guitarist, that's amazing. This video also stun me everytime I watch it
The Best!!
Incredible, everyone standing around, trying to be calm, while their minds are being blown.
...and if their minds are not being blown, they're dead inside.
My thoughts exactly
Melted faces would have been worse then blown minds
No one else on the planet plays like this. He's truly original and has the speed and technique... we'll see where he goes, but could be the next EVH or Hendrix zooming past a lot of great players who never really gained following outside other guitarist.
One of the best comment I ever read, with such a researched references, thank you for stopping by, hope to see you back on our channels again.
Slash on the background 🤘🎸😎
Another chapter Another storys. A legend is born
It comes from his father a pro guitar player, from his studies in classical music in Conservatorio, from a LOT OF WORK!
Thank you for the comment, I can see that you are very knowledgeable. The best results only come with hard work, that's how Matteo did it too
Absolutely agree
Great playing, and a beautiful baritone Bruno - no wonder Bacci is getting so popular!
Thank you! much appreciated your comment :)
It will be much more popular from now!
Of course he is, he's playing a Bacci
Unico.
Grazie
Matteo has took us to a new realm 🎼👌
The realm of dreams, and we can't wait to see where it takes us in the future. Thank you for the wonderful comment
From now on, if any guitar player wants to be regarded as one of the greats, will have to be able to reach or , at least , be around Mancuso's level. Good luck on that!
Every guitarist has his own approach to the instrument, and Matteo is certainly unique in his own, which is why we love him. Thank you for your comment
Its very difficult to be near MM's playing. For every guitarist.
AMAZING
Grande Matteo! 😊
this is insane
Thank you man
Sensacional! 🇧🇷
@@FranciscoBentoLucianoneto vdd meu amigo... o cara elevou a guitarra em outro nível... 🤔
This kid just makes me happy!
AWESOME!!!
Eyes glued to Matteo's unique and stellar approach to playing and his otherworldly chops but distracted right at the top at 00:25 by a master picker of another kind sitting (in white hoodie) to the left in the background background.
Man, what an eye, without your suggestion I would not have paid attention. Thanks for the comment
@@HustonSingletary the nose knows
All I can say is WOW, what a performance! Matteo has to be one of the best (Top 5) guitarists of all time, PERIOD! His technical ability and effortless lightning speed yet smooth playing ability with ease is absolutely off the charts! He's as good or better than the likes of Jimmy Page, Richie Blackmore, Jeff Beck and Joe Bonnomassa just to name a few. This guy just came out of nowhere, what a talent indeed!
Technically better but those guys changed music this kid is far from that. You have to write a hit song like stairway to heaven that appeals to millions of people and gets played 30-50 years later. I hear this all the time. Guthrie? On radio no appeals to guitarist, there are many of those that are talented. But writing and being technical
Are two different things. Show me one technique he does this kid that has not been done ever? Tapping arpeggios? Legato runs ? Nothing I hear innovative but non the less he has incredible technique, but better than legends? Lol not even close !
@@jittboy1 he's starting to write some pretty good stuff. He is playing live quite often. I am fairly sure, he is already leaving a trace is the musical world. The fact that we are debating whether it's true or not, coud be use as a proof this very thing probably happened to the before mentioned figures when they were about starting their careers and the people where comparing them to the old guard of then.
@@cloud-forge like I said before you call him better than legends you have to wait and see where his journey takes him. Playing jazz and fusion is great but like I said influence changes and so do priorities which will factor in the road he decides to go. One must understand calling him better than the people that developed the technique he uses is actually hate to say it but idiotic. Can he perform the techno better maybe but they are copied and nothing done new . Everything he does has been done before . I just think the hype crap on RUclips is ridiculous. I remember when new golfers came out in last 20-30 years they would say the next Tiger . Never panned out lol. All we can do is wait and see . I enjoy his playing as it sounds good but would I say is better than legends absolutely not. Lol that’s all his writing is good , she need some more experience but that’s what we do learn. Same with gear tonex revolutionary bs or Nuno the next Eddie bs lol
@@jittboy1definitely far greater instrumentalist than any of the old legends already. Not only because of virtuosity, but the genius improvising skills combined with completely new approaches/possibilities.
@@antticollan3620 close technical wise I believe so experienced I don’t believe so he doesn’t sing like a Stevie ray . Or write like a halen or zeppelin he has ridiculous technical ability but that’s not what made legends. He is very good I agree! Finally someone with sense. Great comment!
So darn good!!!
Too darn hot
Grande super from italy
Just a big WOW.
YES
for those who said matteo can't play without a fretwrap, y'all can eat this...
I have never seen anybody sweep pick (sweep pluck I should say) and tap a baritone electric guitar before. And I also have never seen a guitar player play the guitar in the way Matteo Mancuso does it. He has such an unusual way of playing it, even for a finger style guitarist. He’s got a picado technique going on in his right hand, and it’s fast but articulate.
Check out Alex Hutchings or Andy Woods or Tom Quayl
@@jittboy1 thanks. I will check them out.
@@madelianides no problem there are tons Stanley jordan , Guthrie govan, look up Harrison sweep picking.
@@madelianides Marshall Harrison
@@madelianides frank Gambali look up sweeping statement lol Marshall Harrison is one of the fast most unique players on RUclips no one real knows about him !
He is without question technically on another level of guitar playing ...
Thank you for your comment, actually sometimes I wonder if he don't have an extra hand in helping
Not only. Heart, soul, great knowledge, great culture. Sensitivity, and musical talent. Technique comes after.
Mastery of the guitar? Wow!!!!!
Listening enjoyment? Little
Thanks for the comment man, maybe seeing him live would give you a better listen
@@bacciguitars Thank you for being constructive- for not being an idiot.
I appreciate Tommy Emmanuel’s technique - wow, wow, wow!
But I need to SEE it - like on a RUclips video - look at his hands - he must have practiced years and years and years. Glorious.
But if I was up late at night and had no screens or stages nearby, I might prefer Patsy Cline.
And I saw Tommy in concert and was also not impressed. I marveled at his skill but it doesn’t get to my heart the way Aretha or Larry Carlton with Steely Dan.
Virtuosity is glorious but it’s different from musicality.
Chet Atkins has both. Mark Knopfler does. Miles Davis does.
But seeing Matteo in concert might change my mind.
I listened to his Rick Beato interview. Nice young man - articlulate, humble, bright - with a great command of the English language.
@@FlaschDJ I saw him play live. I assure you that is an incredible experience. And MM's musicality is stunning. Not only technique. Heart and soul. And a daily hard work to reach his level.
@@consulentecomunicazionestr3072 I always say: Beauty is labor presented.
Consider this contrast:
1. You’re sitting in the 2nd row of a Matteo concert. He’s tapping and soloing at blinding speed with his stunning right hand
….vs….
2. You wake up in the middle of the night and HEAR (minus applause) what you watched in #1.
I’ve listened to Pat Martino (#2) - very good music.
I attended (#1) an intimate Pat Martino concert. Unbelievable but for different reasons.
I wonder how I’d react to #2 with Matteo. (Stumbling upon a recording, alone, in bed, late at night).
I’m not sure. If I’m impressed,that’s musicality.
Finally - somebody once said “Steely Dan makes it perfect - THEN they make it MUSIC.
Thank you, Sir. Thank you
Maestro, Maestro! Yes, i will bow down! :D
Grandissimo
One of a kind. Period.
Bravissimo🎉
This guy makes me very happy
So it's for us
🔥 🔥 🔥
Thank you
Oh my God
That was my first reaction to him
Amazing innovative technique but his note choices and musicality is what stands out for me. It'll be interesting where his musical creativity will take him in the coming years. :)
Thank you for the nice comment, it is not easy to understand that in addition to the technicality there is a great choice of phrasing and the notes. We hope to see you again soon on our channels

Hahahaha I love the slash poster in the background. I love me some slash! But slash couldn’t even come close to the level that this kid is showing us! We are all just standing around with jaws on the floor drooling! Makes me want to practice harder!!
Thank you for the nice comment, Matteo is a power of nature and to know that he motivates other guitarists to practice is just wonderful. We like to think that a guitarist as famous as slash is there alongside Matteo to support him in his artistic growth
@@bacciguitars oh absolutely. I’m 50 years old and started playing when I was 12. My inspiration comes from all musicians all across the spectrum of music. Young people to older people and everyone in between. Matteo has seemed to surpass his guitar idols.
very technical
Thanks for the comment
Not only. Heart, soul, great knowledge, great culture. Sensitivity, and musical talent. Technique comes after.
There is currently such a talented generation of guitar players such as Matteo Mancuso or Tim Henson. In France, in a different style, there is Tina S. Just have a look. She is amazing
You can see that the 3 young guys on the right are probably guitarists as well and they are planning on giving up on it while watching Mancuso :D
COUSIN MATTEO IS ONE OF THE BEST OF OUR TIME
There isn’t a guitarist, alive or dead, that can touch Matteo - not even close.
An inspiration, yes.
Bullshit, same tone as many others, his right hand is somthing special, that i give him, only two or three guitarplayers have a unique tones and viberato, Mark Knopfler for tone, and Yngwie Malmsteen for tone and viberato.
Che barbaro, Matteo!!
