Bro..every time ..I see your videos..I get hungry...What a great salad...simple and elegant...thank you for your simple recipe teaching skills..Gracias..This is a hit....
I visit Málaga every winter, absolutely adore it, been going over 15 years. Had a version of this as a tapa outside the Picasso museum one sunny December lunchtime. The onions and olive oil tie the orange and potato together, really delicious. Thanks for the recipe and the happy memory of Málaga 🇪🇸
Made this yesterday and it was fabulous. I am amazed how well the orange goes with the tuna. Perfect contrast in flavour and texture. Thank you for this recipe. Absolutely love your channel!
My grandfather was from a little village in Málaga, his family worked at La Malagueta (which he hated). I was always curious about their food, since that knowledge was lost by the time I was born. I’m planning a long stay in Málaga but decided to start my trip cooking at home. Thanks for introducing me to those flavors. ❤
OMG.....I would never have thought about putting ORANGE with these other ingredients.....but the whole idea seems good to me. I've already got all these ingredients on hand so I think I'll be trying this recipe out today.
When I make chicken salad sandwiches, I used canned chicken mayo and mandarin orange wedges and stir up. Really good with a little cracked black pepper. Came up with it because I was out of tomatoes and experimented and it was a hit with my family. 😁
WOW ... Oranges with Tuna, Potatoes and Olives- who would have thought of that combo! Sounds delicious and I can't wait for our Australian Summer to arrive.
Al...I made this Salad today..A hit bro..except I use pineapple chunks. Thank for being a great teacher... I am looking forward to making your Spanish Onion soup..Thank You sir....Wish you well....Happy Cooking...
"Ola!!" From California! Let me start by saying, I 💕 your recipes! Plus you are so adorable, you put so much love into you presentation, from start to finish your expression is so enthusiastic. 💕😇 I love this salad by the way! ❤️👍My Abuela used to make me a similar salad. She would lightly fry the papas and then rest them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Then blanket the plate with arugula, topped with a drizzle of olive oil and vinegar a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper, then the potatoes and so on. Yummmmmer's 😋!! Keep up the Great job!! God Bless!! 🕊️🙏 Stay Safe!!
Your food is delicious & too close to our Arabic food. But omg 😱 orange 🍊 it’s a new idea. I’ll try it I felt in love with spain when I visited it. Thank you 🙏
Gracias, Albert! I am definitely going to try this out. I am wondering what I can serve with it? The oranges are so good in the Algarve, that it is sure to be a hit. Also, I love the passion you bring to your channel. Thanks!
If you mean no-one else in the family will eat tuna, use a cooked meat instead. Alternatively you could make a half batch of this and place it into 3-4 servings for yourself to have for lunch, should keep a few days in the fridge. Don't drizzle the olive oil until your ready to eat though to avoid a gooey mess.
I lived in Spain for 3 years. I loved it. I loved everything about it, and it's where I discovered my passion and love for food and cooking. It's what brought me to this channel. I love pretty much every food EXCEPT canned tuna. It literally makes me gag, and it ruined any dish that it was on. I would go to little tabernas throughout Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, etc and/or sit out on a terraza in a small remote town like Teruel, and half the time I would get a salad it would have tuna on it. I love your recipes, and there's so much nostalgia, but pardon me for having to move on once I see tuna. ;) Thanks for the great dishes though. :)
Dear Albert: You have sieved the oil out of the tuna and put it aside for another dish, didn't you? How many days can I keep the sieved oil? Do I have to use it immediately? Where do I store? In the open or in the refrigerator? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. I love your channel... Gracias de antemano.
Hey bud I'm in love with your channel and tried making a few dishes myself. Just one feedback, at the end of each video when you taste your food, you only chew it for 2 seconds and swallow it, it's a bit stressful to watch 😅 because I know you have to quickly swallow it before continuing to speak. I can almost feel my own neck is choking 😂Why don't you savour your food for a bit longer and edit the video so that you can continue speaking once you've finished eating it. That's my two cents. Cheers mate keep up the good work
If you mean that Albert discards a what looks like a bit too much of the onion, I can only guess that he uses those layers for vegetable stock. Let's ask him.
You say right and you made,Cook with much love. So good...
Much love :)

It will hold for up to 7 days in an air-tight container, no need to add it into the fridge :) much love
Much too pretty to eat! A very lovely and healthy option. Thanks!

Potatoes and oranges.....who'da thunk?
So good!!! Much love :)
This looks delish. Just a thought...if you supreme the oranges instead of peeling them you would loose the white pith. Cheers!
2 and half minutes to learn to boil potatoes and eggs😂

this would be too dry for me
make something with red meat and eat it.
It’s a no thank you. The potatoes need aioli, add lemon juice to the tuna , substitute onions for sweet peas.
Seems an awful waste of onion, the way you use it.
If you mean that Albert discards a what looks like a bit too much of the onion, I can only guess that he uses

This is disgusting.
Delious my 3rd time round 👌👌👌👌
