I TAKE MY EARLIER RATING BACK....I JUST HAD A HARD TIME RE-ASSEMBLING...BUT VOLA!...YO'VE DONE A DAMN GOOD JOB I'M JUST AN OLD VET AND AND TUNED TO RUSH EVERY THING...GIVE YRSELF AN "A'.
During part 1 of this series, I’m reminded that there was mention of “no margin” in the fitment of the Girsan slide and BHS’s barrel. Why is the barrel replacement not a suspect in the non-malfunction due to the predictable heat expansion during extended shooting?
Possibly the wording wasn't clear in an earlier session. "No Margin" (at all) in barrel-to-slide fit in a Hi-Power would also mean "no install" and "no cycling"....because some margin is required for both to happen. The BH Barrel has an excellent fit at the Slide's Barrel Bushing and the OEM Girsan Barrel does not. The BH Barrel also has a snugger relationship with the slide recesses that mate with the barrel's lugs - and there remains sufficient margin for heat expansion.
Question: I’ve got a hi power with a Kareen replacement slide from Israel (external extractor), would it be safe to assume most parts from your company will fit? Thanks!
You believe there is evidence of quid pro quo by BHS? Interesting? How do you come to that conclusion? Do not other gunsmiths/parts distributors not try to fix issues on mass produced firearms with their parts design? Would not Wilson Combat, Novak, Nighthawk, Cylinder&Slide fall into this category also? Honest questions🤷♂️

Thanks for your time.
How come the BHP MK3 barrel has a notch at the top of the barrel and the Girsans does not
Hope to hear of adjustment/s, hope it is minor, ie quality control

How much do the competitors of the Grisan pay for your negative reviews?
