A simple love is all we need in a small town like Dog River and we should apply this comedy to small towns across the Globe. Towns like Bor, South Sudan, Katilu, Kenya, Sackville, New Brunswick and etc. A good comedy is a recipe for a better tomorrow. Some may not like it but that's what got us here...and now we got a global enemy, Covid-19. Our economies may be disrupted but our brains aren't. Think positive. Stay safe and always listen because our planet is full of stories.
Everything in this show just warm my heart, especially when a cranky Oscar mentions the word "jackass". I like that episode when a government official Canada Revenue Agency came to audit Oscar Leroy's business tax return. Holly mama!!! There are a lot of J words in that episode.
Brent. Meeting you and the whole cast years ago was awesome. Still telling people about the series and showing them clips. I think you've passed the 'almost famous' part now. Everyone seems to say they've seen a few episodes and enjoyed it. I tell them to get the whole series (DVD? Subscription?) and enjoy it all the way through plus the movie. A Canadian classic. ^^ Awesome.
My dad owned Hank’s screen Ford truck back in 1984 in northern Ontario. He put on these super ugly brown bench seat covers once that we all hated that survived all these years which you can see on the seats, also the side steps, those were aftermarket and you can still see a dent on the drivers side step by the wheel well. There is a sticker on the rear window behind the driver that I put on that wouldn’t come off and is still there, I can’t make it out freezing the frame but I think it was for some kind of automotive cleaning product. I ( 18 at the time) rolled this truck on a dirt road coming back from a fishing trip in 85, there was 8 $grand damage and the insurance company decided to pay to fix it instead of writing it off. My dad sold it in 1991 to a guy from Saskatchewan. I loved this Canadian show and have seen every episode. Brent Butt is a comedic genius, ha ha, he is 😁
I think the continuity supervisor missed something at 1:50. The lamp is still sitting beside Wanda as Emma takes the shade off it. Still love the show though.
I THINK I HAVE FIGURED OUT WHAT HAS MADE IT SO POPULAR IN CANADA, BECAUSE TILL STREAMING PEOPLE IN TH USA HAD NEVER SEEN IT. CORNER GAS IS THE ANDY GRIFFITHS SHOW OF CANADA AND OF COURSE DOG RIVER IS MAYBERRY
It's never too late to discover how brilliant this show was!
Watching Corner Gas down here in the US on Amazon Prime. Love the show, it cracks me up!

That wasn't "the taxman". It was "a taxman".

You rock! We really appreciate that!
So difficult to come up with a top 10 list for a show that keeps the laughs coming.

Way ahead of your time! You even had a defund the police episode. Great show👍
"You a homoman Joe? MMMMMMMMMMMMMM MILK!" I swear Nancy Robertson was the best comedic actor on this show by a mile, she's great.
Great show
You guys like Foosball?! Eh!🤙
Love the show! Caught 'wind' of it from buddy from Saskatchewan.

I watch one episode a day on loop. Do you think I might be an addict?
Once you watch two a day then you are a full blown addict ;)
She doesn't have cateracts so you don't have a chance.😊
I love this show but I'm not sure if it works well as short clips

Calling it now. High up will be the season 4 finale. When they all say their goodbye's to Lacy
I think you should have Johnny Harris bring his show, Still Standing, to Dog River.
