I would think that the pump being worn out , would have on the loud side when it was running . Maybe a simple screw driver resting on the pump and the other end to your ear would tell you . ANY THOUGHTS?
My 23 Camry has a loud noise from inside the cab and guy at dealership told me it’s vacuum pump so would think it’s going out, and what would be symptoms? My breaks make a hissing sounds when I let my foot off the break. Online said if vacuum pump is bad could reduce fuel efficiency and rich or lean, and makes breaks harder idk if true.
There is a service bulletin T-SB-0115-22. Google it. There is a noise sample on there. See if it is similar to your noise. If it is an abnormal noise, they have to try and fix it unless it is a salvage title or you caused damage to it.
@@shoptimewithdrew that’s service bulletin is only for the V6 models not the 2.5L 4 cylinders. I didn’t cause damage to it I’ve just been driving the car only 11k miles on it.

Yes, that will work or buy a cheap stethoscope from Amazon or harbor freight. That is what we use to find them when they are noisy.
Donde compraste los repuestos
Concesionario Toyota.
Toyota dealer where I work.
Would you recommend this over buying a brand new pump ?
I would buy the pump. It's probably hard to find a parts kit.
Where did you get the repair kit?
It is a recall just go to your local Toyota and ask if it applies to your vehicle. It is 21TA09
@@shoptimewithdrew thanks
You are welcome

What kind of sound in the cab? If it is a 23 you should take it to a dealer it should be under warranty.
@@shoptimewithdrew loud growling noise only at idle grrr sound, and I did and they told me it’s the vacuum pump and they refused to fix it
