actually, this is what I'm used to doing with my projects but in a way more accurate than this, Instead of Export and importing from excel, you can ignore it because when you assign the 1 $ resource for all activities at once you will get the cost is equal to the duration multiplied by the daily hours, which means the cost multiplied by 8 that's why you can keep it as it is because at the end of the day the cost already distributed based on durations, or you can divide by 8 using Global Change if you want the same values of durations. What I'm doing after this step, I distribute a WTG for each Stage of Construction WBS for example CIVIL - ELEC - MECH etc. Each one of those will have a different weight and be multiplied by the previous cost. this will give you a more accurate analysis
very useful video, please tell me if we use estimated weightage and define weightages to all WBS, is this approcah is correct? rather then use global change and do the weightages?
Dear Hany, very useful video again, if i may ask, during export/import option why dont we add original duration column in modify template and equalization on the spreadsheet original duration=budgeted units instead of copy paste P6 page and apply vlookup formula?
Please Sir, I had a question, why percentages will not roll up to project level in primavera p6, please not that it is roll up in WBS level, and I already assign recourses, please advise.
Engineer Hany isn't this method not much accurate as it depends solely on the duration of an activity which doesn't reflect on the actual weight of an activity as some activities have a big amount of cost but takes little time for being performed?
this is really better and simple way to manage the projects which do not have costs and resources loaded. Many thanks for the guidance and the video.

Good point. Do you have a video on that? Thanks
Thank you for your topic, it is very useful for me, this case is frequently, mainly with a weak contractor or subcontractor
Very nice 👌 technique
For levelling as duration base ..
Thanks a lot 😊
Super.. loved it.. I am having the same problem
Helpful I suggest to issue short videos about planning tips
Great suggestion!

what is the link between weightage sheet & EVM?
