DanTDM has been a pure hearted RUclipsr the entire time he's been on the platform. While doing some partnerships, he's never thought of taking advantage of his audience. He not only wants the best for his audience, but his own children as well. MrBeast's greed, partnership with horrible people, and tendency to push his problems under his PR team's rug is beyond disgusting, so he's getting called out for it.
@SapphireBattersea-t5fsomething I saw while browsing online was someone said “when you buy a hoodie of a RUclipsr that’s it, you don’t buy it again because you already have it. With food and drinks you can buy it multiple times meaning they make a lot of money on one person who buys them a lot”.

Kids under thirteen aren't even allowed to drink prime. It is DETRIMENTAL to their health. Just goes to show how easily kids are influenced by these youtubers.
you don't say? Kids who are still learning and thinking, and dead beat parents that don't care what they do, throwing them a tablet or computer to shut them up with them looking up to them as figures...because they have no one else in their lives....you don't say =H= this is why I say there NEEDS to be a law against kids online. I'm not for censorship but if there was, this sh*t would stop so fast because there would BE no kids anymore online to sell too. and kids can start using their imagination again like I did growing up I played some games on the old Xbox and N64, but I mostly played with my toys, played outside, had a bonfire outside too in the woods it was a great childhood! My mum even took me to the mall or bowling every other weekend it was great! sometimes we'd have fun tag saling. it was a good childhood and a fun one because I was a kid! these kids aren't kids they're just brainwashed zombies watching a screen for hours on end glad my niece got out of that since my grandfather stupidly gave her a phone at a young age. Now-a-days as a 17 year old she really doesn't care and only has her phone and only uses her computer to play games. other than that, she has devoted her time to animals and her pets and such and when she's 18 she said she wants to work at pet sense to work with animals more. I'm so happy for her, glad she was the good one. now mind you she's easy to manipulate at times but she HATES these youtuber saying anyone who watches them are idiots. and luckily even at 14 she hated them anyway. at the time though she was watching JayStation she knew he was a piece of garbage but said she laughs at how dumb he is.
I've literally seen parents of pre teens buy there kids prime and I'm thinking are these parents really that ingorant that there buying there kid's drinks with lots of caffeine risking there health plus I thought there were laws where it was illegal for the parents to do that and I think definitely should be illegal as well for young teens and pre teens buy themselves knowing how incredibly damaging it is for their health btw another I don't think no one reads the cans that says " Must 18 or older to consume"
@@SugerRushStBenard I do agree, but the reason there aren’t laws against it is because it isn’t an alcoholic beverage. Same thing with Monsters/Energy drinks. Young teens think it’s cool to buy and drink them, but they don’t realize that they are possibly one of the worst things that they could be putting into their body. But of course there aren’t any laws against it. It only takes their favourite influencer to tell them that their product tastes sooo good for them to think it’s cool and buy it. And you can bet that none of these kids are reading the bottle and nutrition facts before drinking these things.
There are 2 versions of Prime. Prime Hydration and Prime Energy. I don’t know how this goes over so many peoples heads. Don’t give kids and type of energy drink. Prime Hydration is no worse than Gatorade. Really just drink water.

Saying it has "60%" less sugar gave me the desire to look at the label because less sugar usually means it's replaced with something else to make it more palatable. Sugar's job is to make food "hyper" palatable - meaning people will want it more. It's often replaced with artificial sugars like sucralose, aspartame, etc. In this case, looking at the label, sure enough, it's replaced with sucralose. Far as I know, companies aren't required to disclose how much artificial sweetener is in products, so it's difficult for parents to measure how much they are giving their kids. Artificial sweeteners have been known to negatively affect the beneficial gut bacteria, meaning that this can affect hormone production, and therefore fullness cues. It hasn't been definitely proven, but this could potentially lead to weight gain because people are hungry due to this and may eat more as a result. Also, it's not well-known how artificial sugars like, sugar alcohol ie what sucralose is, in this case, affects children over the long term. I wouldn't recommend feeding this to children, and I'd recommend paying careful attention to labels of any food that isn't in its natural state. I saw sucralose in canned yams. Yams are naturally sweet. Not even sure why they felt the need to include it.
Like you said people wnat hyper palapable. I wanted to get dried fruit for healthy snack and then i saw they all have added sugars. The fruits already sweet! And dehydrated even sweeter! Why they need to add all that sugar?
Lots of yip yap from someone who doesn't really know what they're talking about lol 1: 'Sucralose' is not a sugar, period. It's an artificial sweetener, a chemically modified version of sucrose, which IS a sugar. You're talking about 'replacing sugar with sugar' which inherently doesn't make sense when you read it out loud. 2: Artificial sweeteners aren't 'known' to do any of that. It's health consequences if any are very under-researched actually. The main difference is that artificial sweeteners have no calories compared to actual sugar(s) which is why it's promoted as a healther option - same shit they use in coke no sugar, fanta no sugar, etc. Again, whether it has health consequences is under-researched. 3. As stated, you don't know what you're talking about. Your fullness is not impacted, and regardless like I said there is no calories in artificial sweetener to make you gain weight. If anything you would be expected to have a lower caloric intake and lose weight, since sugar/carbs carry a caloric intake with each gram, but instead of ingesting that, you're ingesting sweetener with no caloric intake 4. Yes, this should not be eaten by anyone, it's still unhealthy. Not because of the artifical sweetener, but because it's full of processed shit with terrible macros.
@@TrueGuardify Reading comprehension seems to be a big problem for people nowadays. I'm not linking stuff because people tend to remove comments with links, and you can look up studies yourself. 1) Source: National Center for Biotechnology Information, WebMD: "it’s actually made from real sugar. This gives it a taste that is generally more preferable compared to other artificial sweeteners." Also, if you had actually read my earlier comment, you'd see, I called it an "artificial sweetener". From earlier comment: "artificial sugars like sucralose" 2) Source: National Library of Medicine: National Center for Biotechnology Information, also Scientific American regarding how artificial sweeteners affect the biome in the gut and gut health. There are also numerous studies regarding how it affects hunger cues. 3) I didn't say you get calories from the sucralose itself. I said you may be more "inclined" to eat things because artificial sweeteners like sucralose affect your hunger cues - again, because of how they affect the gut biome, and therefore making you want to eat more. It's not just me saying that. Again, source: National Library of Medicine: National Center for Biotechnology Information 4) Finally, something I can agree on. The only thing I misspoke about was calling it a "sugar alcohol". In the studies they tried a multitude of sweeteners, including sucralose. So, the points still stand. At any rate, it's still not something we should all be consuming in large amounts.
My son absolutely could not wait to get a MrBeast bar. I had to drive him to target specifically to get it. He took one bite, put it down never touched it or asked for another one again I seeThem in all of the clearance bins of all of the stores and secondhand stores. None of his friends like MrBeast candy either. I guarantee these people are gonna be the same and I’m very surprised MrBeast is going into business with Logan, everyone and their mom is coming for him right now over prime. MrBeast is NOT making good decision lately.
Well lets give logan some credit for making equally bad decitions, hes just decided to get into business with a p££d0 to try & sell more ultra processed crap to kids
This is literally the same marketing as feastables “Hersheys suck, we taste better and are healthier*” “Lunchables suck, we taste better and are healthier**” ***neither are healthier and if they are they won’t be after people get hooked on them and they change it to be more addictive
This is also same way Logan himself marketed Prime. I don't remember all the stats off-hand but the food theorists did a video about whether or not Prime (hydration) was actually a better hydration beverage than Gatorade and it wasn't. The purpose of Gatorade, which the marketing was based on, was the perfect sweat replacement beverage. Prime may have more of the "good things" but from what I remember it's either in amounts that can't even be fully processed by the body or that doesn't do anything for actual hydration.
One note: They compared there product to Lunchable's with a reese's peanut butter cup (which isn't even the main thing). Look on there website. So they used one of the least healthy varients to try to pretrend that there is some marginal difference.
More like "they won't be after people realize how much worse they taste and they need to change it to taste the same as the competition." Pretty sure that's why the feastables were changed.
@MischievousPear The prime in there isn't an energy drink, it's a sports drink. Think Gatorade, not Redbull. But yeah, otherwise it seems like it's generally the same as a lunchable. Not good for you anyways. Looking up the nutritional facts on either product: Lunchly has 50% more mass (80g vs 120g per box) but provides 30% less of pretty much every nutritional value. Except for vitamins B6 and B12, which it has way more than a daily recommended value - so pretty moot. And looking at the ingredients, they look to be basically the same (ham replaced with turkey). What did they do?! Fill it with sawdust or something? Also, it kind of doesn't make sense, since the Lunchly would have the drink and chocolate bar as extra. And the drink alone would make for more than a 4g difference. It's hard to tell what's included in the nutritional facts, since it just says "1 package". edit: Aha, I've found part of the discrepancy. I was looking at a no-dessert and no-drink variation of Lunchables. Funnily enough, the right version is still pretty much the same situation as I detailed.
Several things, people should understand about nutrition: 1) calories are not bad, in fact, kids should consume approximately 2000 calories on daily basis. 2) Sugars and carbohydrates-are an important part of nutrition 3) electrolytes- just salt (and it’s already in a big amount in processed meat and cheese sauce) 4) There no point in consuming vitamins, if you don’t do this properly (for example, retinol must be taken with something fatty, otherwise it’s won’t be absorbed that efficiently)
2000 a day is a general guideline and differs per person BTW. Childrwn are growing and tend to need more, as well as high protein, mineral, vitamins and all the other stuff as well
Calories are bad for the simply fact, that we live in a society with an extreme obesity rate. They are bad, because all the processed foods have such high calorie densities that it is rare to undereat on calories. People that undereat on calories usually have some kind of eating disorder and would not reach 2000 kcal no matter what food. The human body can make its own "sugar". Sugar certainly is not an important part of nutrition and even by trying to avoid sugar as much as you can, you still consume way too much with modern foods. Even if you just eat lean meat and vegtables you will have consumed plenty of carbs by the time you reach just 2000kcal. 1kg raw chicken breast and 2 kg broccoli would be about 140g carbs and 1800kcal. It is basically impossible for a person not specifically selecting for foods with 0 carbs to even get into a low carb diet. This chicken + broccoli diet would not even be considered low carb. Carbs are so plentiful in everyday food that they certainly are not important as it is near impossible to not eat them. The risk of underconsuming on carbs is basically as high as the risk of forgetting to eat alltogether. Also people usually mean refined/added sugar, if they say "sugar". They do not mean the sugar that naturally in whole vegtables/fruits. With that in mind sugar should not even be part of any diet and is not required at all. Electrolytes are not just salt. Since by salt you mean normal kitchen salt which is sodium chlorid. When you sweat however you lose other electrolytes as well, which you can not refill on by just consuming "salt". How much this would matter during a marathon for example is beyond me however. Ignoring that the main target group (people sitting in front of the pc all day) do not need any kind of energy drink to begin with. They are not sweating and losing electrolytes at a high rate. There is no point in consuming vitamins, no unless needed. If your doctor tells you, you are deficient in something, then there is a point to it. Other than that everything is laced with vitamins nowadays.
I've always thought they were cringe and unhealthy even before all this went down. Never tried them, unlikely to ever go out and buy one in the future.
The thing is it’s obvious this was mr beasts idea with the way he can’t mention his chocolate bar without trashing hersheys. I feel like a good product can stand on its own without having to be compared to something worse
@@shanel4294true, like why trash on a a competitors thats like a big no no in marketing. Clearly it will show what type of business you are if you just keep beating down on another company. But again nothing beats clean food from whole ingredients. I would rather eat that than this garbage slop, They know that they cannot compete with real lunches made with actual ingredients so the closest thing is lunchable which they can clearly beat down. I think a sensible parent at this point would just make food at home for kids.
Honestly if you want a healthier option for Lunchables, just source the stuff yourself & put it all together in a lunch box. Probably cheaper to do it that way too. Im sick of these guys trying to convince us it's "healthier" when I could have full control myself.
@@niederrheiner8468That’s largely a myth. The truth is complicated, but artificial sweeteners are generally less harmful to humans because they don’t contain as many carbs and calories as sugar, and they don’t lead to nearly the same spike in blood sugar content.

I remember watching a documentary about Prime and why it is a scam. To summarize, Prime should not be classified as an energy drink. The reason why it is sweet is because of the amount of Potassium they put within the drink. The whole purpose of an energy drink is to refuel your sodium levels, that is why Powerade and Gatorade have a salty aftertaste or leave you thirsty. High levels of potassium are also bad for you, leading to numbness and heart palpitations. I would not be surprised if the same kind of thing is happening here, because Logan and KSI are involved once again.
I mean, the "feastables" weren't healthier than Hersheys anyway like he claimed/griped about, so idk how anyone expects anything from the dweeb to be good for you. Dude promotes child gambling, fake challenge videos, and he's annoying AF(atleast imo).
Trying to cancel MrBeast with more allegations is like trying to light a dead fire; once it runs out, you relight it, and again. He may lose some of his viewers, but most of his audience are like 7-year-old boys. To them, MrBeast is the only normal content creator they know who isn't LankyBox or Skibidi Toliet.
What I love about the DanTDM callout is that MrBeast, Logan, and KSI tried to retort by pointing out Dan's old merch collabs (for toys and figurines, not processed food crap mind you) and Twitter absolutely roasted those three with community notes Get ratioed idiots lmao

It's either deliberately misleading language, or money is of so little object to these guys that a difference of two dollars means nothing to them, even if the difference is double the price of the usual product. My pessimistic side tells me it's more likely to be the latter.

If they wanted to make a competitor to Lunchables, they should have either made something that was objectively healthier or made something that was cheaper, but still providing the same amount of food, if not more. For that matter, they could have teamed up with Armour and helped produce Lunchmakers, which is already a cheaper alternative to Lunchables.
I refuse to believe that mrbeast isnt smart enough to know that this would get a lot of backlash. The promotion also doesnt make sense, its like pepsi spitting out cola and saying ''its disgusting, just trust'' but im guessing it works for their children army since theyre throwing money in this.. And working with two scammers is absolutely insane. I dont understand HOW is he STILL so successful with ZERO consequences, its like all of these videos fall on deaf ears. And I dont think anything will make a difference at this point, just like the ''logan paul forest incident'', which is mind boggling. ''you can see the difference'' no I cant, they both look like plastic toys
If kids are having this for lunch they need over 300 calories - they’re kids! They’re growing! It’s also harmful sharing this to their child audience, claiming less calories is best. That’s just cruel and will set their understanding of nutrition to something dangerous. KIDS NEED TO EAT.

As a business student, we're learning a lot about business law and I'm about 80% sure that the marketing strategy of saying a competitor is bad while their product is good, could be taken to court as a case of defamation
Defamation might be hard to prove assuming the stats they stated were correct/accurate. Defamation is when you knowingly lie and make false statements about an individual or company. Since all the statements made were either clearly them staying an opinion or a proveable stat (ie ours is healthier because its 7g of sugar vs their 21g) had they said something like lunchables are full of radiation then 100% defamation. I'm not saying Lunchables can't sue them because I'm pretty sure there are laws that prevent companies from disparaging their competition which is why we don't see anymore awesome coke vs pepsi adds. If this was a RUclips video posted to their channel they might be in the clear on that too tho as it probably wouldn't qualify as an ad or fall under those specific advertising laws.
Another thing that I find funny is that ksi replied to Dan with pictures of products that Dan has made, like youtooz, saying that they’re essentially the same as what they’re doing, like having a youtooz and making a lunchable competitor is the same.
This new product may be healthier than lunchables, but how long until it isn’t? When feastables first launched it was healthier than Hersheys so that was how Jimmy marketed it, now you can clearly see they changed the recipe and his chocolate is now the MOST unhealthy on the market. Even if his lunchables are healthy now, he’ll probably switch to the industry standard to cut costs without saying anything. One thing I’ve learned since the dogpack vids, is that Jimmy is one of the most greedy salesman ever and will do anything to cut costs, even if that means he starts using child labor for his chocolate when he previously said he didn’t
Unless they're banning him for the streams where he did the illegal raffles then I don't think he should be banned despite all the terrible stuff he's done. RUclips shouldn't just change their policies to ban someone the people don't like else we would've never gotten a response from the people that vindicated themselves, such as Slazo. Not saying Beast *can* justify what he's done but it'll lead to a slippery slope where innocent people get banned before they can prove their innocence.
Also, on the topic of fats and sugars, Kids NEED those. They NEED the extra fat and sugar (not as much) to grow. Kids and Adults have VERY different dietary needs.

As someone with POTS, who needs to drink a bunch of electrolytes to not pass out, PLEASE stop advertising electrolytes to children. Having too many electrolytes can create electrolyte toxicity, and too much sodium can be detrimental to a child's health--causing dizziness, nausea, and many other problems. If you're including a prime drink in each meal, they're going to likely have vitamin toxicity if they're having these meals often. Parents, please, take care of your children!
As if parents that let their k7ds drink Prime care. Parents who love children learn about what children need to eat to be healthy BEFORE they stop using contraceptives.
Breast, Ksi, Paul. They should have called theirs scammables. I rarely gave my kids lunchables. But just because they weren't filling. Lunchable never said they were healthy just convenient. That's probably why they don't get so much gup. We all know what we're getting into. Scammables is literally lying through their teeth. I'm honestly looking to the lawsuit that comes from this latest venture.
As an adult who has to take my own lunch I love lunchables, I usually take a good quality yogurt and a fruit cup, it's not the healthiest lunch but it's still better than McDonald's every day.
@@chloekrueger9497what about them chicken nuggets? 🤔 or the happy meals? 😮 bro imagine if people made their own happy meals? Obesity would at least go down a bit more. 🤷♂️ All in good fun; seriously though parents just need to parent better and watch what they buy and eat. 🤷♂️
DUDE. MrBeast CAN NOT be complaining about the amount of calories that lunchables has. Assuming that MrBeast is presenting this to 7 year olds, the more calories the better. Growing children must eat lots of calories.
In fairness, high salt consumption is only an issue if you have reduced kidney function. Healthy kidneys remove excess salt without issue, usually within an hour. Certain culture considered 'healthier' have very high sodium diets, like Japan, but it doesn't have the issues often blamed on high salt consumption.
People always advertise their product as 'the best' but ive never seen/heard a company call out and trash the competition by name before. And definitely not the same way MrBeast is doing it, telling people to actually not buy the competition. He is asking to be sued.

What happened to the old days where the only thing youtubers were selling was simple merch. Hats, shirts, hoodies/jackets, plushies, & posters. Then vidio sponcers become a thing wich isn't bad, just anoying if you see the same brand over & over & over again. Now rich ass holes creating, promoting, & selling ther own products that can cause genuine harm to the consumers.
I did some math. Say you have 3 kids, and you send them to school with Lunchables for lunch. They are $1.87. 3 kids × 5 days of school=15 lunches needed. 15x1.87=28.05. Very affordable for low income families. Theirs, being 4 bucks a pop, means 4×15=60. That is more than double the cost for the same amount of food. That $30 is what could have gone towards breakfast AND dinner that week. I grew up lower income, so affordability is something that is super important to me (as I'm sure it is for most people). I feel the same way about cereal. It has bad things in it, yes, but it's also pumped with added vitamins and minerals that a lower income family needs, regardless. I'm tired of out of touch, top 1% youtubers saying that their products are affordable, when to you, everything is.
This is what Ontario's site has to say about calories: "Adults and youth (ages 13 and older) need an average of 2,000 calories a day, and children (ages 4 to 12) need an average of 1,500 calories a day. However, individual needs vary." , 230 calories is good if that child eats 40 chicken nuggets everyday after school, the average meal a child gets is barely 700 calories, 1000 calories per day for a child is not healthy.
@@DakumunDahBat They’re equally bad. By asserting their product having less calories makes it better than lunchables to their child audience is also crap. Kids shouldn’t start counting calories and should just be taught mindful eating habits.
A product having less calories is always a good thing. Having stupid comments is only making the main message we're trying to makr worse. Children eat a ton of shit from supermarkets, they don't need more calories.
@@kaloyanivanov885 Not all children are the same. To say that less calories are always better is so wrong. Children are growing and need good calories to do so. Eating a 230 calorie snack as lunch is not a good idea. The kid will need to eat close to 8 more meals. It is better to eat 3-5 times then 10
@@elvinglomander5884 Nah. This is a common myth and a lot of parents have the same mindset and have their kids overeating. That creates poor eating habits and the kids not only grow to be fat as fuck but also have harder time losing weight because their anatomy has changed, especially the fatty cells. Kids should eat as much as they want. You shouldn't feed your kid if he isn't hungry.

this is why I say there NEEDS to be a law against kids online. I'm not for censorship but if there was, this sh*t would stop so fast because there would BE no kids anymore online to sell too. and kids can start using their imagination again like I did growing up
I played some games on the old Xbox and N64, but I mostly played with my toys, played outside, had a bonfire outside too in the woods it was a great childhood!
Needs to be the top comment
Like you said people wnat hyper palapable. I wanted to get dried fruit for healthy snack and then i saw they all have added sugars. The fruits already sweet! And dehydrated even sweeter! Why they need to add all that sugar?
Lots of yip yap from someone who doesn't really know what they're talking about lol
1: 'Sucralose' is not a sugar, period.
If anything you would be expected to have a lower caloric intake and lose weight, since sugar/carbs carry a caloric intake with each gram, but instead of ingesting that, you're ingesting sweetener with no caloric intake

Also, if you had actually read my earlier comment, you'd see, I called it an "artificial sweetener". From earlier comment: "artificial sugars like sucralose"
2) Source: National Library of Medicine: National Center for Biotechnology Information, also Scientific American regarding how artificial sweeteners affect the biome in the gut and gut health.
4) Finally, something I can agree on.
The only thing I misspoke about was calling it a "sugar alcohol". In the studies they tried a multitude of sweeteners, including sucralose. So, the points still stand. At any rate, it's still not something we should all be consuming in large amounts.
You are sorely in need of an editor.
I've been seeing Mr Beast products in clearance sections too.
Well lets give logan some credit for making equally bad decitions, hes just decided to get into business with a p££d0 to try & sell more ultra processed crap to kids
This is literally the same marketing as feastables
“Hersheys suck, we taste better and are healthier*”
“Lunchables suck, we taste better and are healthier**”
***neither are healthier and if they are they won’t be after people get hooked on them and they change it to be more addictive
That argument is so dumb… Blaming a snack because people got addicted to it… Did you even think before commenting?
Several things, people should understand about nutrition:
1) calories are not bad, in fact, kids should consume approximately 2000 calories on daily basis.
2) Sugars and carbohydrates-are an important part of nutrition
3) electrolytes- just salt (and it’s already in a big amount in processed meat and cheese sauce)
4) There no point in consuming vitamins, if you don’t do this properly (for example, retinol must be taken with something fatty, otherwise it’s won’t be absorbed that efficiently)
for your first point... it really depends on how old the child is and how active they are. like around 12 year olds should consume 1600-2200kcal
True, humans need calories but surely that junk food is not the only thing kids will eat for day right?
@@KyHeartWill true, but in general cutting off calories is a destructive thing, but lots of people thing that this is the right way to eat healthy
I actively avoid buying Beast products.
Never have, and never will. Will never advocate for any of the products.

However, individual needs vary." , 230 calories is good if that child eats 40 chicken nuggets everyday after school, the average meal a child gets is barely 700 calories, 1000 calories per day for a child is not healthy.
the calories aren't the biggest deal, it's the processed foods and sugars that are quite bad.
“Not biased at all” ok Buddy..
This is the kind of coverage that makes me realize
A) I'm old. All three of these dudes look, sound, and act insufferable
B) I'm so, so happy that I don't get their types of videos pushed on my feed. I've literally never seen a Mr. Beast or Logan Paul video come across my feed. If it wasn't for interacting with LOLCow and commentary channels, I would have no idea who they were. Case-in-point, I have no idea who the third member of the shill brigade in this video is.
If DanTDM has to come out and say this is BS, something is wrong. It’s actually pretty disgusting how predatory RUclipsrs are getting now. I completely understand accepting sponsors, so long as they’re not complete scams or scummy. Making your own brand, however, is really iffy. Theres ones like GSupps and Glitch, which I don’t particularly like, but they at least have good quality products, just the wrong audience. This, however, is directly targeting a very vulnerable group, and adding to the massive problems of US health.
The fact that DanTDM also called them out is really saying
