It was instinctual between us without really knowing it was happening. My dad passed in '95 of melanoma, my mom is 91 now. We have large holiday gatherings still and we sing carols and worship together still but my dad was the glue that held us together.

Okay well, this one brought a tear to my eyes. I have a dear friend of more than 60 years. She and I sang this song in our church a few years ago and to our surprise, were given a standing ovation. We were shocked of course, being in our 60's at the time. We went to the same high school and we were in choir. The Prayer is one of our favorite songs, and your rendition brought my wife and me to tears. It is just about the most beautiful recording of The Prayer we have ever heard. Honestly…I am at a loss for for words…I have been struggling personally facing difficulty in life, as we all do. I have been in prayer and letting go and letting God heal me through Jesus Christ His Son and my Savior! Listening to this song touched a part of my soul and has brought tears and healing. I have been where you are many times but never lost sight of GOD, JESUS & HIS SPIRIT. If you completely surrender your self will to HIM and wait on HIM you will find yourself in an amazing place. My wife and I have been married 51 years since 1972. We have lost two fortunes, two homes and one of our twin daughters died unexpectedly at two years old in 1981. But today GOD has brought us to our little farm in Mississippi. We have 13 acres, two homes and five cars all paid in full. We are retired in HIS grace and enjoy the great peace HE has given us. Best of all, we were self employed. Neither of us has had an employer in 30 years!

I've heard some great singers do this song. Some of the best being Bocelli and Dion, Lucy and Martha Thomas, Mat & Savannah, and Celtic Woman, among them. This version by Life in 3D belongs in the same upper echelon. Who's the best is certainly a listener's choice and I won't take sides. However, I will say that this one just might be the most enjoyable. Great job, kids!

I love this song. I have heard it performed by so many duets where it is hard to follow each of the voices but these two have such a Beautiful, clear, distinct blending that brings chills and nearly tears.

Okay well, this one brought a tear to my eyes. I have a dear friend of more than 60 years. She and I sang this song in our church a few years ago and to our surprise, were given a standing ovation. We were shocked of course, being in our 60's at the time. We went to the same high school and we were in choir. We've know each other since our early teens and are still very close friends to this day. We're both in our 70's now. Thank you for your gift and for bringing back so many beautiful memories!
