Just a personal opinion (you can disagree to agree or agree to disagree as to each own opinions), I noticed no one mentioned about the issues we Singaporeans (myself a Singaporean), was certain issues like free speech in overseas (for mycase I went to Australia), whereby apart from known to have chill lifestyle than Singapore, I feel that few things I hate about Singapore is the lack of freedom of speech given that we are ranked "partial free" according to U.S.-based Freedom in the World as 3/7, with 1 as most free and 7 as not free. Another thing I hated about Singapore was the public order act, as the act did curtail the ability to have peaceful demonstrations (which if you have gone to open and free countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United Kingdom, United States and notably some European countries), you will realise how open and expressive the people are when expressing their discourse to the government even through peaceful demonstrations. I disagree that China is the better place to go to, given their notoriety of their human right abuses on the Uighur muslim minorities, and I do not stand for the people whom are similar to me in terms of ethnicity, what's more their suppression on Tibet are also concerns of treatments of these ethnic minorities, especially those interviewed looks younger than 25, and I don't find the answers genuine as most of them do not have much exposures compared to interview those above 25.

Will lead to entitlement and self-centered mindset and Dependency Culture.
“So Grab is for the rich?”
G: “ermm Grab is for people who got money”.
Wait till you want to buy a piece of paper with COE on it then you’ll feel the pinch in your wallet.
stayed in straya for 3 years & ironically, I MISSED SG weather. hot and sunny > cold and gloomy.
Singapore Talent is like extinct when govt keep on prefering FT
Because only 30,000+ citizen babies born annually while 20,000+ older singaporeans die every year. Nature/God distributes talents unequally and unfairly, right? So only 30% of each cohort will grow up into rational, productive working adults. The rest are average, mediocre or duds. Are you a craftsman or top performer in your job? Are your kids? Are your parents excellent at their career? How many of your friends are top professionals or successful business owner?
YES! FINALLY SOMEONE MENTION ABOUT 991 BUS TIMING!
When i was young i was like ya i def want to migrate. But now that i am older, adulting and am more aware of world affairs, spore is the best already la. Other countries are screwed up
8:10 "taxi is too expensive", wearing a rolex and balenciaga tee :)
The teen had no idea when they start choosing a places.. most of them still showing how teen they're by priorities K-pop group instead of the actuall living in those country...
I've been living in Japan before, weather suck lol.. everyday raining in Tokyo, and the cold weather suck for any people who born in SEA region
I've notice an increase of surveillance camera throughout the years and I've also notice they have install camera at my HDB void deck and lift, 2 of them are outside the lift and 2 are inside the lift itself and I get it that we need cameras to keep our country safe but at the same time it feels like I'm being watch whenever I'm going out and it doesn't feel comfortable to me. Back then when I was younger around 2013 or 2014 it was very relaxed, there was not alot of security camera throughout the place even my hdb void deck and lift didn't have camera too. The only places that have too many cameras back then was train station,Airport, mall, banks and goverment buildings and it was late 2013 or late 2014 that the gahmen decided to increase camera everywhere.
you can conclude that their age completely influenced their answers
Brit here. Cultural ignorance is what SG can improve on. If you are Singaporean and you disagree with my statement tell me what do you know about other cultures despite the stereotypes? I personally have been to numerous countries and wish to travel more to learn more. The world is huge. Singapore is really very small compared to other countries. And hence, knowledge about other cultures will be extremely small too. Don't misunderstand. I am not saying I am not ignorant. I am too.
For a self-advertised multi racial country like Singapore, there is a disproportionate level of development in the cultural intelligence, sensitivity here.
We are just an island nation.
And very pampered.
prefer rainy weather than singapore weather? he obviously never go london before. the rainy weather there is like drizzle which can last the whole damn day. plus with the temperature the drizzling is cold AF. and once you get indoors its hot AF because of how they regulate the temperature indoors to be a comfortable warm one (opposite of singapore, where indoors we regulate it to be COLD).
Damn, my man complained about SG's education being taxing but wants to go live (and WORK) in Japan???
Grass is always greener on the other side. Europeans are getting out of their countries every winter to come to Asia or Middle East. Holiday in a country and living in that country is totally a different thing. Sg is overall a good place to live consider everything though not perfect.
I ASKED MYSELF HOW CAN IMPROVE MYSELF INSTEAD OF WORRYING AND COMPLAINING.
Wears a beanie and complains that sg is hot.
The guy complaining about the education system in Singapore being too taxing for students, then chooses to move to Japan...lol Im sure he will enjoy Japan work culture
People who say that they want to move to Japan probably have not thought about the difference between staying there as tourist vs living there as normal citizen.
Japan is a horrible place to live in.
Did the guy wearing a snow cap actually complain about “cold weather”?
Climate and National Service...
3:55 is that guy your brother😂
The guy who commented Malaysia is probably thinking he can still get his Singapore salary over there
Yep, quite ridiculous
my guy say education in singapore tough but want to go japan?? student suicide rate in japan high bro
surprised nobody say ns
Ns not liek last time .I heard from my friends who alr served ns say it's chill and can slack .so not much to do as well.
I hate the drivers especially those driving luxurious cars.
In terms of competition and cost of living, London NYC HK even Shanghai Beijing could in fact beat SG.
I want to add on to 1:37 some pavements r shit cuz nature weathered them down? if thats the right way to say it. e.g. some pavements cracked and uplifted by tree roots and it sucks to bike on. Ik road can cycle but i still dont dare
I think it will be dining experience here . Sometime , Even you go to restaurant , and paying for the service , the service is bad and crowded . Most famous shop need to wait long queue jut to get a seat
Most time , even if i want to ask something and ask the waiter, they are not happy if you ask more than once . Not to blame the staff . Most restaurant are under staffed due to not much Singaporean wanting to work in service. And i cant afford to dine in less crowded , top star restaurant everyday. Even in hawker , the seller are very rude & impatient .
The 3 girls in the second interview the first ones voice sounds familiar, anyway what I hate about singapore is cost of living(COL), CPF, education system & NS being compulsory. I hope to see a change but I dont think I will until maybe 10 or 20 years from now.
Those that want to go China, don't know about politics yet 😂. Try doing freedom of expression in China LOL
blinded by douyin lmaoooo
the police state culture and the bullying gahmen lah
Definitely CPF!!!!
As a Malaysian, i think Singaporean is lucky to be Singaporean 🥲🥲🥲🥲
Why? Quality of life isnt as great as the Europeans, Australians, Canadians and New Zealanders
Im grateful to be born in Singapore.
Malaysia is a huge mess now
Hearing individuals with limited exposure to the rest of the world (real living exposure NOT via RUclips) talk will make one stupid.
Once thry owned landed properties, condos, drive cars, holding top notch jobs, high education they are arrogant & high headed. Not All but Most.
THE WORST THING IN SINGAPORE IS THE LAWS!!BECAUSE SOME THINGS ARE LEGAL IN MANY COUNTRY BUT SINGAPORE DON'T.IN FACT,THEIR LAW ARE TOTALLY BIZARRE!YOU CAN'T EAT GUM IN SINGAPORE!
As an ang moh, the only place I want to live is Singapore. I miss the standard of living I had and I prefer warm weather anyway. U.S. is a big mess. 😔
Are you in the US currently? I'm a masters student in Singapore and would like to move to states for work and living...
@@HDgaming345 I personally don't recommend it. There's lots of Singaporeans I've met in New York, but I really can't understand why they choose to stay here.
@@rileystein6195 haha. Maybe there's something about the US that makes people want to go there. Even my friends in university have a desire to be there.
I would say transportation. Look at the current COE!!! First time hit 100k. Cab fares and bus/train rides are only increasing at a rapid rate
you should have asked more adults that question, not uni students/teens/kids they don't know shit because they're at a different life stage, and haven't even had a glimpse of the real world.
And how would adults answer those differently, in your opinion ?
@@ausgaporetan8512 in my opinion? They would have had more life experience. They also would understand more of the struggles of living in Singapore as compared to students. Overall it's because adults are at a different life stage than students/teens. They would have tons more to say.
9:07 pro way of telling us to sub lmao
What I can see common similarity between some Chinese My & Chinese Sg is having thought to move to China.
Really strange
I remember when I was still a poly student in 2012-2015, most of my Singaporean Chinese schoolmates despised China.
991 bus lmao
Singapore is changing worse I think. Back in 2004 Singapore was such a beautiful and peaceful city. Now it is overcrowded and expensive to live in. No wonder Singaporean leaving Singapore more and more. I lived in Singapore for 5 year from 2004-2009. It was the best Singapore, not Singapore nowadays.
Is this English they speak?
LMAOOO THE EDUCATION SYSTEM ONE , GOOODDD HAHAHAHA
0:50 man listen here in London is 30 degrees hot in the summer🥵🥵🥵
i am not from singy but i dont like it as there are too many ads.
aimrun you coming to clarke quay during halloween?
oof might have to honestly 🥴
is that jurong east tiume zone?
Girl @ 8:54 has nice eyes.
Well there's a lot of stuff I wanna say but nvrmind
Singapore living standard is high and expensive and he want to go Msia...I'm like what?
Even tho Malaysia is way more shitty then Singapore at least when you convert Singapore dollar to Malaysia Ringgit you'll end up become a rich king or queen and you can own anything you want, even a car overthere
Not if you're on 3x money multiplier
@@someconscripteddoomer619 Well cities like KL not JB are pretty developed/very liveable so I think it makes sense. But KL prices wont be 1/3 maybe 1/2 of SG.
@@someconscripteddoomer619 well ya if you already rich in SG, for those who think of live in Msia and start over..better don't
if he earn in sgd and spend in malaysia,he is probably top 5-10% earner here.
Optometrists must be making a killing out there.
Singaporeans hate those Singaporeans who doesn't have self-respect & respect for others. This is the thing that lots of Singaporeans want to say but afraid to say.😐
I don't feel any singaporean pride when 55% of the people in the nation are foreigners who get preferential treatment while the govt berets us for being unskilled and not good enough. Its just like an old school asian parent when your friends come over and stay.
