In my personal opinion I would say in current modern society and high standard cost of living in Singapore to find true love is almost impossible. Equal status in both genders and with female able to earn more then many males out there makes their reliance lesser and less desire for a partner. The prettier and attractive a lady is, the more they demand, and nowadays even girl next door type raise their standards until almost same as a pretty lady's level. Youth is their advantage so they have time to pick and choose and not serious at all because no rush and not necessary. In addition to looking for someone who is rich, handsome, muscular, good character plus can understand them, they also expects zodiac signs and horoscope to be compatible with theirs. Playing hard to get is 1 thing but they seek for perfection that is almost impossible. Everyone got flaws and they really have less tolerance of acceptance and understanding. Many can't take smallest hardship as too pampered and only cared about ownself living in their world. No matter how hard a guy tried to chase or improve oneself put in effort means nothing to them and they care less about it. It just means u are not outstanding enough and there are many out there for them to pick. In my personal opinion I would say in current modern society and high standard cost of living in Singapore to find true love is almost impossible. Equal status in both genders and with female able to earn more then many males out there makes their reliance lesser and less desire for a partner. The prettier and attractive a lady is, the more they demand, and nowadays even girl next door type raise their standards until almost same as a pretty lady's level. Youth is their advantage so they have time to pick and choose and not serious at all because no rush and not necessary. In addition to looking for someone who is rich, handsome, muscular, good character plus can understand them, they also expects zodiac signs and horoscope to be compatible with theirs. Playing hard to get is 1 thing but they seek for perfection that is almost impossible. Everyone got flaws and they really have less tolerance of acceptance and understanding. Many can't take smallest hardship as too pampered and only cared about ownself living in their world. No matter how hard a guy tried to chase or improve oneself put in effort means nothing to them and they care less about it. It just means u are not outstanding enough and there are many out there for them to pick. That's probably why many turned to foreigners and many guys rather stay single giving up hopes of trying anymore waste of time money and effort for someone unattainable. More crimes also arised from such desperation. Even if one managed to attain, to maintain and sustain is the next level and its more challenging than attaining. So why bother make life so complicated and stressful to pursue something impossible in the first place. Humans will become extinct at this rate with the world also gradually destroyed due to environmental issues. That's just my person opinion. No offence.
