I’ve been a Logic Pro user for over 10yrs. I taught myself about logic, trial and error.. This series is by far the best I’ve ever come across. Thank you so much for all the hard work you’ve put into this.. ~Dizzle
I concur with all of the positive comments here. You are a very engaging teacher and I hope you continue to do what you do. You are someone I would gladly pay to continue to learn from.
This series is one which blew my mind. I keep asking myself how you knew about the topics to treat in each of this series... remain blessed forever❤❤❤🎉
..by the way im a logic x user for 7 years thanks to your videos, you are an amazing teacher, 50 percent of my logic x knowledge is from your videos...respect!
Man I didn’t know anything about ultrabeat. And this video made it clear to me. This is a game changer for logic pro users. Thanks once again for your great contents. Lot of love from 🇩🇴
You are literally the only RUclipsr that makes me watch my inbox like a hawk. Another great and informative video, thanks. I just wanted to know if there was a way to increase the randomness of notes in Ultrabeat so that they don't always trigger (for example I only want some of my hi-hats to trigger 40% of the time).
Logic samplers are way too old that they can do basic stuff only. However, you can achieve randomness with scrips, like this: ruclips.net/video/4A7icJnXKfQ/видео.html or google for 'Script to Randomize Drum Beats'
No problem. I’m on the more electronic music side of logic so you going through this kind of lesson works. If you could could check out my channel. I do logic x production live streams and would love some feed back. Also I have a production podcast on my “Max Volume Ent” channel 😀
HI MusicTechHelpGuy, First of all: Thanks a million times for your instructional videos. They are gold! I have one issue: How can I create a new drum kit by mixing the ultrabeat samples which came with logic? So for instance I want a kick drum from preset x and my snare from preset y for my custom kit z. Thanks!
You can trigger the individual notes with any MIDI controller. You can also trigger the individual patterns too. You can turn on Pattern Mode on the bottom, and use your MIDI controller to trigger entire sequences to play, although I don't use that function much. Note that the patterns have MIDI notes next to them -- those are the trigger notes for each pattern.
I don't understand why this is even a plugin in Logic anymore. I don't understand why I would want to use that over the Drum Machine Designer rack. Can anyone tell me what or why Ultrabeat can be more useful then using drum samples from splice in the Drum Machine Designer? I like how in drum machine designer you have a sub option for the kick and the controls you have over it when you press B to open up your control bar.
ultrabeat is good, but not that good as studio ones IMPACT XT...apple should make something similar to this, its an amazing drum sampler....we hope to see some changes soon...

That multi-output advice was GOLD. So much better than having to make multiple instances of the same drum machine. Thank you very much!

Thank you for spending the time you had to produce this video
Clear and succinct. Learned what I was curious about!

There's a new Drum Machine Designer and new Pattern Sequencer in Logic Pro X 10.5 when I watch this video, but thank you!
This is an incredible tutorial
GREAT VIDEO MAN ! AS ALWAYS ! CAN YOU TRIGGER ULTRABEAT LIVE W/AN EXTERNAL DRUM MODULE TO RECORD SAMPLES AND/OR BEATS PLAYED LIVE ?

@@MusicTechHelpGuyTHANKS ! GOT IT !
soooo helpful
How do I get The sequencer of ultrabeat to paste a pattern from the sequencer to the timeline?
I can't get the blue volume sliders on the individual samples to move. The Master slider moves fine. Is there a special trick to this?
What a great series, really enjoyed it. Thanks
When I drag the sequence in and play it is completely different from what I created in Ultrabeat, its way off beat? did I miss something?
can you add notes in ultrbeat via a beat pad?
Great video!
Keep up the good work.
love it.
