      Sorry for the wait! I don't really post on a schedule just because with working 7 days a week and not having reliable access to internet I'm never 100% certain when I'm going to be able to post videos. I aim for around once a week but the videos take hours to edit, and I sometimes just don't have time!

    Really enjoy your videos! Ive show lots of people the giant pike you caught as it was the perfect mix of "oh shit, and OH SHIT!!" The bathroom door was funny 😂. Beautiful area you live/work in. Thanks for taking the time and effort to put together the videos and take us along. The editing will go faster and smoother as you figure out the software and add to that the knowledge of taking shots you want/like! Watching from the Surface of the sun aka Florda 😅

      @@burntlands_backcountry It beautiful if you LOVE and I mean LOVE Heat and humidity to go along with your bugs and FAR too many humans. I am looking for property 25hrs north as it actually cools off and people are much fewer and farther apart. 😁

    Great content. You didn't show how the logs are being fastened to one another. Are you just relying on the weight of the logs to hold them in place or are you using timber screws at the corners? Thanks

    Why did Jim and Bianca choose a log cabin instead of a stick built or Timber frame cabin?

    • @burntlands_backcountry
      @burntlands_backcountry  3 месяца назад +2

      Because log cabins are cool. But yeah, pretty much any other method of building a cabin, including timberframe, would be easier. Building with logs, particularly the Scandinavian scrib method, is complicated and easy to do poorly. If done right however you end up with an incredibly solid, very healthy house.
