When you're glueing them pipes, Jimmy., throttle body cleaner spray works 10 times better than brake cleaner - discovered that by accident, dunno why but it leaves them waay cleaner & easier to glue up. Brake cleaner always leaves that kinda grey dusty residue of dirt - TBC leaves it spotless.
Wow! I Just solved a 10 month emission warning light on my own. I have a 2014 renault 1.5 dci, I kept getting a warning light whole driving about emissions, then I noticed it would go during diesel fill up or when I opened the diesel cap. With the mot 7 weeks away worried me. Anyhow I have found it's when I fill up because the check emissions comes on again. Then recently although not filled up with fuel I opened the fuel cap then slammed it shut & the warning light came on again so I slammed it again it went out, so far so good, it's definitely the fuel cap causing the issue.😢
When my Volvo V50 ran out of the fluid the engine would stop every time I turned to the left (or was it right? I forgot). It was quite the hilarious fault mode. No indicatior light on the dash.
Hi Jimmy, Got a p0093 if i boot it, Not all the time, I also get p2A00 occasionally, Would it be the fuel pump meter valve possibly, also have a thermostat wide open. Never gets hot. now I've just done the water pump and cam belt it runs even colder. apparently the thermostat or temp gauge has always been low from previous trusted driver with 170k on it, It drives fine and smelt it do a regen the other day, no loss of power, Driven back from Devon last week no problems, On the way down, i got P0093, cleared that after 100 miles and got another about 150 miles later P2A00, any pointers. Never owned an Adblue vehicle before, any advice much appreciated. Thanks.
Perhaps but the hose had a long split and super glue is really good at sticking rubber edges. I've used it often for the same type of repair and it's held sometimes for months because I'd forgotten about it.
@@tonydaddario4706 Re: the hose had a long split I think it would have been sufficient with 2 long patches. My experience is that few things will hold on rubber.
A patch would be better used where there is movement. That hose rubber is quite thick and rigid so super glue is actually ideal supported by fabric tape. The bond is very strong as long as there is no shear.
Enjoying the videos long may they keep coming
Great stuff....learning something new with every video..thanks
Mobile mechanics, for when you don't want your truck to go to the dealer for a month and returned still broken

Brake cleaner shouldn't leave any residue, should it?
@@tonydaddario4706 isn't the cleaner left behind, it just doesn't clean rubber that great, so there's crud left.

NICE work JIMMIE AS always 👍👍👍👍
Great diagnosis as always. Would that tank be normally be filled at a specific mileage or service interval?

Great again. Still learning. Need to get my eolys tank checked soon. maybe i should visit you soon.
Good fix 👍
Did the U113 code disappear? Had a number of issues with a boxer recently this code would never erase! 😩
The van looks like the valve cover gasket is pouring out oil. Surprised they didn’t want that sorted.
Jimmy, are you ever going to do the software updates on the Eurotab?
How do you stop you're ramps slipping
Youve been spoilt today, working in sunshine.
Ford engine?
4:58 Could a patch and glue from a bike puncture repair kit have solved that better?

Mate, I have same van. It’s on 170k miles but never filled up the eolys tank ????
Do you know you have such a tank? You need to crawl under to make sure you have one.
@@elbuggo yes I’ve seen it many times. As well as the adblue tank and fuel tank.
