As always, great review!! Looking for a first laser and so I am exploring YT. This one looks great, only thing I would like to see is a fume extractor, like with the enclosed model outthere… Keep up the good work and thanks again!
Thanks! I have another video with the enclosure to the fit the Nano/ Nano Pro with accessories and it's great! I don't have the fume extractor just yet... Here's the video with the enclosure: ruclips.net/video/E1WkaDRm7Fs/видео.html
Hi Greg, sorry to bother you again, but I need some advise regarding my choice of which laser would be best for me. I will be cutting and engraving mostly small stuf in wood, the wife is into 1:12 miniaturen. Been looking at several lasers like the Roly lasermatic MK2, the Acmer P3 and several more like these. Would a Longer Nano Pro meet up with my needs? Don’t really need the big 400 x 400 space, and another big advantage in my opinion is the lack of moving parts in for example the Longer. If you find the time, please share your wishdom with me! Thanks in advance!
The Nano/ Nano Pro has a small footprint and can be much faster- I recommend the more powerful 12 watt Pro version. Other then making sure the field lens is clean- there's no other maintenance unlike the large larger machines that have rails to clean and lubricate and belts to check and tighten. Best wishes
