Emotional intelligence is very important in life and is key in power play however many people miss the depth in the lessons others are meant to bring by strategizing feelings. A healthier route is to learn your internal world and its triggers and how to meter it appropriately ( while still feeling the feels and processing them)… plus faking emotional control can lead to detachment and disassociation when not routed in authentic understanding of self
Women can tell when men are *trying to act nonchalant. It’s similar to a woman playing hard to get. While we are attracted to calm and collected/confident men- we are repulsed by the pretenders

Understand that if you do this you will only implode from the inside out because you’re essentially playing games with your own feelings and needs. Being open and honest about ones feelings and needs is the only way to be and if you don’t get the response you’re looking for you need to learn to walk away and keep your self respect intact.
I don’t agree. Most people take this as a sign to dump all their feelings on a girl or a guy. Self control and regulation is a necessity in the human world, there’s nothing wrong with regulating it yourself and understand where that feeling is coming from, or if it’s genuine or not. Understanding yourself goes first before you want to let a girl/guy understand your feelings. You’re supposed to build up a bond with her, and let the emotions build up slowly with each other.
