Nobodies really talking about this but recently the chain lift has been slowing significantly right before the first drop and the mid course trims have been on. It already wasn’t the most aggressive rmc but now it’s even more sluggish
I think it has the arie force issue of slamming into the breaks too hard and messing up the controls system & six flags doesn’t have the budget/care to fix it so they just slowed the train down instead
I've gotten my best rides on this coaster in cooler weather (all this footage was filmed in the winter or early spring). I wonder if they need to slow it down in the summer by slowing the lift and having the mid-course hit.
@@CanobieCoastermostly cause the mid course will be more likely to be disabled. During this past summer, the first half ran like a bat out of hell but the second half was probably the most boring 30 seconds I’ve ever experienced on an RMC
When I was a kid I absolutely loved the original Texas Giant before it was trimmed up. It was wild fast and had loads of airtime
I wish I could have tried that in its prime.
@@CanobieCoaster You would have liked it. I was lucky to have parents who took me to pats as a kiddo. We all enjoyed coasters
Un ironically my favorite RMC coaster that isn’t RailBlazer
I prefer their newer coasters, but it's still a great ride.

One of my favorite best coasters at my Hp
It's my favorite coaster there.
Do coasters run even faster in Texas when it's like 120+++??
From what I've seen, New Texas Giant runs faster in cooler temps.
I Know Twisted Cyclone Iron Gwazi & Storm Chaser Run Faster In Hot Temperatures

Not as intense as RMC’s more recent coasters. But, still a great ride.
It was a fantastic prototype.
