Does this shot need to happen on tight lies only? How long can the grass be? Tried this shot the other day and stuck the club in the ground. My foursome got a good laugh at my expense. This is an important shot to learn to shoot low scores. Thank you!
Loads of reasons but you can be falling forwards, throwing the club away from you, driving the handle down and away or just not arcing the club back to the left
I must try this. I thought you were going to put the coin in front of the ball so you get ball first then bruise the ground! Are you working on the basis there’s a flat spot at the low point of the swing?
If it was the full swing then sure place the coin ahead although I wouldn’t recommend doing that with a coin😂 It’s never flat it’s an arc but due to the bounce it will glide as the surface prevents the arc from diving too far under ground. If you’re technique is good
This has been my go to drill for a month now and it’s the first time I’ve ever felt reasonably comfortable around the green. It’s a must do 😁
Amazing! Glad you’re loving the drill!
Hi Everyone, comment below what is the shot around the green you struggle the most with⬇️

This is my "struggle shot", bump and run is my favourite ...
Hope this drill helps you!
Mats are very forgiving, off ground i would say allot less likely for us amateurs
Mats can act like a firmer lie and make this even harder. Depends on the situation
Should be able to with good motion🎉
Exactly that! This drill is great for telling you if your technique is good
For some reason. I'm hitting a shank occasionally. Why? Thanks
