The Americans:
10 longships as the characteristic Higgins-boat transports.
5 wheelbarrows as the awesome amphibious tanks.
15 archers scattered around the transports as normal infantry.
5 potionsellers as infantry with grenades.
1 catapult and 1 ballista at the back as the artillery from the ships
5 valkyries at the front as the 101st airborne...
The Germans:
15 protectors and shield-dudes as hedgehog tank-traps.
30 archers as regular infantry.
10 frost archers as...Waffen SS?
10 spearthrowers as snipers.
2 zeus’s as MG 42’s.
1 catapult as artillery

I want you to know that the groups on the right side is the amount of groups that one unit is made up of so, for example there are 100 units in 4 groups, it would be 4 groups of 25 that can be placed wherever. Thanks for reading this comment!
The group option is for when you want to use the same unit but spread out in different positions across the map. That way, you won't have to make 5-6 tabs of the same unit and able to use them for other types of units.

So my idea has some storyline, it is based on skyrim, where the people of the different lands get together to beat the evils that lie,
You have 9 jarls as the jarls of skyrim
30 squires as skyrim knights
2 king as the emperor and high king
10 berserkers as angry Nordic men
15 halflings as novice thiefs
3 Valkyries as paarthurnax, odhaviing(butchered that name) and Durnevhiir
10-hoplites as imperial legion warriors
10- Vikings as stormcloak warriors
10 crusaders(medieval troops that have shield and sword) as heavy knights from solstheim
4 frost archers as grey beards
One Minotaur as werewolf
Finally... 1 Zeus as DOVAHKIIN
1 haybale thing as Aretino
8 potion throwers as students of winter hold
VS
5 scarecrows as necromancers
1 Zeus as mirrak(ex dovahkiin hence he's Zeus)
6 mammoths as... mammoths

Hedgehogs were actually anti-watercraft obstacles . At low-tide , they were hard to get around , and at high-tide , they would rip the bottoms of the boats open .

What a lot of people don't know is it wasn't the United States Army that fought D-Day, It was only the United States Marine Corps. All the other branches of the military weren't trained for this kind if combat. (please note, I got this information from my Dad and Grandfather. Both of which served in marines.) that is also how the marines got the nickname Devil-Dogs

if you enjoy playing massive battles with infantry, land vehicles and air vehicles i suggest you check out Planetside 2. Its an older game but still very very nice to play. Its the only game so far with battles on that scale.

There is a map like the Normandy invasion on ravenfield called 1982 or something, although it is a mod and isn't receiving any more updates
Baron but there was already a game in which more than 1000 players fought (guinness record beaten) in the game Man Versus Machines. In 2012 this one-time match took place. Admittedly, servers fell from overload several times, but the fun was ahead. There were so many people who wanted to join the game that it was necessary to reserve places earlier.

in the invasion of normandy (d-day) there were 10,000 german soldiers and 100,000 allied soldiers (US, France, Britain, Canada)
The British called the Sherman tank the Ronson, after the lighter because they "Lit first time, every time" when hit. And one Russian general once called it "The perfect tank for service in peace time" because it was reliable and easy to fix when it did break, but it wasn't much good in a fight.

Play hearts of iron 4 it’s a great game. wW2 strategy game. Choose a county and basically run it. I like to play as the US and do D day

Did anyone notice, on the German Riflemen, the Uniform is COMPLETELY wrong. They have the collar patches of artillery officers, the shoulder patches of generals, and the arm insignia of FIELDGENDARMS.
But Baron's German accent is EN POINTE.
Hi Baron, press V you can control a group of solider around you, you can command them in the battle
Baron if I may all you had to do was use 3 lines. At the very edge where it says group it allows you to divide them into equal section. That would've been really useful for the Machine guns
Imagine a FPS game in VR like this
You can use the groups box on unit select to break that set of units into different sets to move them around. So, you could’ve taken those groups of 25 and combined them into one group of 100 with 4 groups

This Needs to happen. Starwars vs Halo. Have the empire and the rebels team up against the Spartans and the UNSC Marines and maybe some ODST's. Have lord Vader fight off against Master Cheif. And the cherry on the cake, have a star destroyer or 2 fight the Covenant ship. (About 1,000 of each troop, it really doesn't matter)

Edit: the bunkers were bombed by ships and with the British and American Air Force also was attacked by paratroopers the night before

There's an option to change the number of groups for a specific type of unit so you can make this even more realistic, but great video.

I've seen things in that game... things that would break any normal player... the constant fear of snipers, the struggle to gain ground, but must of all... the unpredictable death caused by an ally.
And this is coming from my experience in the PS4 version lol
Call of duty World War Two you can participate in dday on offense and defense it is a FPS like so baron will see
Check out PlanetSide 2, it a conquest game where 3 faction's fight to take over done land and drive the other faction's out, it's a massive multiplayer where there like 100+ people can be different classes of infantry with customizable load outs and it has vehicles like tanks and carrier aircraft and AA

It was mostly the British by the way because the British and French where pushed down to Dunkirk beach
Then British shipper men had to transport our soldiers home
America did nothing in d-day
Dunkirk and d-day are unrelated
If you change the group number you can divide your Troops with one selection instead of taking up all of the the selections for each group

Something you can't take into effect on UEBS.... Germany had no idea we were invading on June 6th 1944.... we had successfully convinced them of an invasion party in a completely different location. We completely caught them off guard.
Some Arma WW2 mods are pretty cool and you can do a scenario like this with them.
We need fps games to have these kinds of map makers. Unfortunately in Doom 2016 snapmaps you can only put like 20 enemies on the map at a time.
