So weirdly I have always used the buff with foundation, applying the blush with similar motion technique! I felt like a Pro except for the comment about always going for deeper shades in blush and contour.

wow, I'm already a believer in accepting my dark circles as the contours of my face! Of course I do use concealer to lighten the, but I know i can't eliminate them completely, and honestly I look scary if I do!!! Also, my eyelids are dark like yours. I honestly embrace them as natural eyeshadow, might add shimmer, might not....regardless it looks beautiful because its natural!!! Also, always going for the neutral undertone, that is so true!! I am brown, and I do have some yellowness in my skin, but u feel like most foundations are too yellow for me (Hi Homer Simpson)...lol...so yeah great tips that I've already been believing in, this just confirmed it for me!! I love what you do to endorse acceptance of color...unfortunately it's such a problem in our culture that brown or dark us bad, when in reality, all skin tones and colors are special...we were naturally made like this and we wouldn't look better any other way!

First of all, you're gorgeous. I think Daniel had some good application tips, but as usual non-Brown MUAs aren't the best at choosing shades for Brown folks. The blush, eye shadow, and lip tint shades were not flattering and seemed better suited to pale, cool-toned skin. You were right about which blush to use (the warmer, deeper tone), and I feel like any Desi who knows makeup would have chosen better colors for you.
