Nice vid.
With luggage this trip will be a nightmare to Sultanahmed.
Pay more for a cab but save the hassle 🙌🏼
OH MY GOODNESS, THANK YOU!!!! I love this step by step video!!!! You are amazing, thank you for making this!
You are welcome 🤗 for any kind of help you can hit me up
Turkey doesn't seem to like intermodal integration! Some journeys can take an extremely long time! If arriving from Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, you can take the metro line all the way to its end in Kadıköy and take the ferry to Eminönü and then take the tram. You can also take the Marmaray service via Ayrılık Çeşmesi if you prefer to do the whole thing by rail.
This video is very helpful! Tq sir
Thanks for your support dear!
Greetings. Beautiful recording. Thanks.
You are always welcome
One question I asked myself was why not build the station directly in the terminal building? Otherwise, Istanbul is lucky to have a line that goes to the airport directly, and the airport is MASSIVE and impressive.
🤔🤔
I am also staring to think about it after I read it
Yeah it's an oversight. Probably has to do with the way the contracts are prepared. The airport contract is seperate from the Metro and the airport was finished earlier while the Metro was still constructing. Having 2 unrelated construction sites in the same area could be problematic for organization. Regardless there needs to be a people mover in İsanbul Airport because the station is way too far.
I've noticed that about Turkish nitermodal connections. It is a similar situation with Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. I also notice long walks between stations in other places, e.g. the station in Gaziantep and the tram stop serving the station.
Merci!!!!
Welcome dear
Great video
Thanks for your support 😊
Is it completed to the M2 now ? @@AbdullahsParents

Almost 1.5 hours
Merhaba! Tell me, please, now it is possible to take M2 when getting off M11, right? Do people have to pay for each segment (M11, M2, T1)? How much is it in all from havalimani to sultanahmet, please?
Yes, total not more than 80TL
May i know how long it took u to arrive there?
01 hour
How do I pay for the train ticket at Laleli station? Card or cash?
Both are okay...
So the metro is in front of Gate 11. Why don’t you just come out from Gate 11 instead of walking to Gate 13? I don’t get it 🤷🏼♂️
You can’t exit from gate 11. It’s only for entrance. Gate 13 is for exit.
@@AbdullahsParents thank you
Couldn't you just go one extra stop to Gayrettepe and connect there to the M2 green line?
Gayrettepe connection to M2 hasn't opened yet. For now you have to get off at Kağıthane and then use M7 to go to Şişli-Mecidiyeköy. You can then continue on with M2.
For future readers, the extension opened on 29 Jan 23. @@misturjosturr7658
I understand that it is completed and open now ?@@misturjosturr7658
Why catch yenikepi -Haciosman from kahigtane ? Don't we need to go towards yenikepi? Because yenikepi - haciosman will go back to airport, isn't it?
YOU ARE. FROM IRAN
No... Istanbul
how much ticket cost?
Istanbul Airport to Kağıthane 25 TL.
Then per ticket generally 17 TL.

Why not go all the way to Gayrettepe Yönü and get on the M-3 there?
Currently it's also open. You can come directly to Gayrettepe and take M3 or 34AS
Istanbul old airport has train connection, but I don't think the new airport has train connections yet
Sabiha Gökçen and Istanbul international airport both have metro
@@AbdullahsParents I don't think so. Only Sabiha Golken has metro
@@Hornscope didn't you see in this video? We are living here. And we are travel agency from Istanbul

@@Hornscopeyeah it is very new. Opened in 22/01/2023 and this video will soon be outsated because the extension of the metro will open linking it directly to M2 without needing to get on M7 first

Istanbul Airport to city center was built by the Chinese in 6 months.
Do you mean metro 🚇 ???
@@AbdullahsParents Yes the metro line from Istanbul airport to city center was built by the Chinese in 6;months. It took a little longer for trains to start travelling on the line. That line is now fully operational. There's a caveat to using Chinese contractors: The supervision and contract terms have to be very tight. The Chinese contractors are capable but they will do a loose job if you allow it to happen. Case in point Dhaka BRT Line 3.
Extreme Bullshit. The construction took 5 years and was built by Kalyon, which is a Turkish company. Who can finish a 35km metro line in 6 months. No one is that stupid to believe that.
