I try to stay with the Duncan Hines cake mixes. They are still 15 ounces and not small like the others. This is like the cake you made last week. I thought I’d watch it again. It is yummy.
Do you have a recipe for old fashioned cutout Christmas cookies, Mom's were cutout in the shape of candy canes, snowmen, Christmas trees etc. with royal icing in different colors. The dough was light whitish colored that baked up with somewhat crunchy edges and middles that were not too soft. I found RUclips recipes that look like them but seem to be too soft, or crumbly. Most of your recipes are exactly like the ones I remember Mom making so hoping your Christmas cookie recipe would be similar. ps: I think there was some orange zest in them too but not sure ps 2: I think you would refrigerate dough overnight wrapped in saran wrap, and and I remember some had red hots candies used in the decorations too
The Dolly Parton's cake mixes are bigger. They give you what we use to be able to get and according to Amy of Amy's Louisiana Kitchen they are a pretty good cake mix. Nuts would be good in that also. Well nevermind, I see you got nuts out on your chopping board.
