    Just thought you guys should know that a company called Beautyful sells slings that are similar to yours and they are using footage from this video and passing it off as their own product. It’s on their Facebook ad. Wanted to give you guys a heads up 😊

      Hi Malika. I am not a professional videographer so I was just using a friend's camera to record the video. I since got a better camera with a microphone, so the sound quality on our newer videos is much better. All the best!

    Wow I like the idea of using the loose end to support the head! Anne, is it possible to nurse from the other breast too with the sling in that position? Many thanks for your video x

    • @Nalakai
      @Nalakai  6 лет назад +3

      Hi Jo An, thanks for getting in touch! Yes, you can nurse from both sides, you just need to loosen the sling a bit more to nurse on the side where the ring is. You can pull the rings to the outside of your shoulder. Another option is to loosely wrap the tail fabric around the rings, that will give your baby a little pillow. And just be sure to adjust the sling snugly around your baby once you finish nursing. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. I'm happy to help! Anne, Pura Vida Slings

    I’m thinking into buying one my biggest concern is the newborn won’t fall down out of it and I can move around in it I’m a mom of 3 with toddlers

      Hi Isabel! We have several more tutorials as well, including one about newborns. Ring slings just take a little practice at first, but if you have a deep seat (we have a video about that too), your baby will be 100% safe. All the best!

    Cradle carry position, please

    • @Nalakai
      @Nalakai  6 лет назад +7

      Hi Yoanita, thanks for checking out my video! The cradle carry is actually not recommended for newborns in any type of carrier. This is because it can constrict the baby's airway. In slings and wraps it is always better to carry your baby upright. I hope this helps! Just let me know if you have any other questions.

    I'm having the hardest time getting her bum NOT on her feet!!! How do I get the weight on her bum?

    • @Nalakai
      @Nalakai  4 года назад

      Hi Anna! You want to gently pull your baby's ankles out from under her bum. Her legs should be in an M position, knees ent high above her um and ankles to the side. Also, once she is in the sling and adjusted snugly, you can support her back and gently lean forward. That puts her weight into her um and not legs. All the best! Anne

    • @Nalakai
      @Nalakai  6 лет назад +7

      Hi there! Thanks for checking out our video. According to the Baby Carriers Industry Alliance, it is perfectly safe to wear newborn babies with their legs in. As I mention in the videos, it is important to make sure the baby's weight is in their bum and not their ankles or feet.
