Flowers will snap or fall of its always recommended to cut it off beacuse it make bananas cooler ever cutting the flowers on the end of the bananas they can be in med or large size depending on your bananas variety

Question does the flower grow back fast after cutting it? I’d rather have the flower there than the banana reason why I have a ton of humming birds and I don’t want them to go away. And the flower is shrinking. And I don’t know if I should cut the flower or leave it. Thinking if it would grow quickly back.
@@creativitythink7113 I remember in my grannies I was with my granny just harvesting bananas and I saw a Lakatan with a very long heart chamber and it's smaller then the original lakatans banana blossom after when I came back it was the lakatans's son that happens if you keep the heart on I probably had a extra banana supply to bring home.

Only the start of the flower spike is female, after a certain point it produces male flowers. it's a method to prevent self fertilization if they were still seed germinated, a remnant of that ancient past.
I planted 2 bananas from seed and while 1 is a sapling so bananas from seeds germinate for about 2 - 4 weeks but they are dwarf bananas they should germinate for about like 6 days or something.. and also banana hearts in other types of banana varieties like the Cavendish the hearts have a power to heal up bananas (only in different varieties) Edit: srry for my typing errord

It took 2 years for mine to flower & the bees destroyed the flower. So no bananas🤣🤣🤣.

Peppa pig you can also cut the banana tree down to stump, and cover it with multiple tarps. The lack of sunlight will eventually kill the trees roots

@gjkween they got bigger. It took about 6.5 months, but in the end they got really nice and round with a thin peel 😀
