Actually Huntsville, Al is home to Redstone Arsenal and Dr Von Braun. Gentrification has set in and cotton fields are replaced by apartments and grocery stores. We have our Waffle Houses and country roads not made for the traffic. The North has won!😂

I had to eat everyday at a Waffle House in Clearwater, FL for two weeks in December when all the other restaurants were closed for the season. That was 30 years ago and I haven't set foot in once since.
Waffle House is definitely it’s own thing. I’m not complaining. Any food I don’t have to shop for, cook, and clean up after, is food I’m thankful for. And most of the food I’ve had at Waffle House has been as good as the food I cook at home. But stay humble. Don’t get too fancy with your special orders. If you throw something high and mighty like “over easy” in your order, you have yourself to blame.
