This is hypnotizing 😵💫 Whom ever spliced the video sequence together with The Hustle is an evil genius. I’m losing the last few brain cells I had left.
Being alive in the 70's makes me happy to see that the music I grew up listening to has not faded away. There are people here in the comment section that think this song and others from the 70's still have value. Thank you to these three gorgeous ladies who took the time to make this video and to all of you here for the wonderful comments on music from the 70's!!!!!!!!
VERY well done, VERY good choreography, Very good sound mixing. I was in my 20s when this song came out on the radio. It was in the top 40 airplay for such a long time that people got tired of hearing it. That's probably why 600 people put thumbs down. But these gorgeous Japanese girls put a fresh spin on a classic, bright cheery song. I like what they've done, and more power to them!
This is genius !!!!! I can't think of any better way to do this song better than you did. I was a deejay in New York when this song came out in 1975 and was a huge hit and is still big to this day. This caught my eye because of Perfume alone. I first got into Japanese music after seeing The 5, 6, 7, 8's in Kill Bill and I was hooked. Then came Show-Ya. After a while I kind of fell away until about 6 years ago, when someone posted Wagakki Band's music video "Kishikaisei" on Facebook and I was immediately entranced and reembarked on Japanese musical journey. Baby Metal, SCANDAL, Stereopony, Band Maid, Aldious, Doll$Box, Nemophila and a whole host of others. One of them is Girlfriend, who did a great cover of Flash by Perfume, and that was my introduction to them. I'm really impressed by their style and class and smoothness. I think that there are several other songs from the Disco Era that would translate well to their dance style. I feel that these songs would lend themselves to making similar videos to this one, Rock Your Baby by George McRae, Fly Robin Fly by Silver Convention, I Could Dance All Night and Let's Groove by Archie Bell and the Drells, Searching by Change, Haven't You Heard by Patrice Rushen, Midnight Love Affair by Carol Douglas and Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now by McFadden & Whitehead. You did such a great job on this video.
Damn. It was the best of times. Glad I lived-and danced- through it. Would love to go back for one long night of dancing: my shirt tucked in the back of my pants;my Calvin's soaked to the knees, and those work boots. Loved it! Danced from 11 PM to 5 or 6 AM.
I usually have two eggs six pieces of bacon toast and a cup of coffee for breakfast but I could see where I can change my regular to have all three of these for breakfast😊
I was 10 years old back in 1975, more than 43 years ago and I saw the video back than and remember the dance very well. This video 40 years later pays a nice tribute to Disco music by 1980 I started sneaking into discos myself. What a great time to be alive.
scretching, I LOVED the Discos and danced all night! My knees are shot, but I hear this song, remember all the fabulous nights I had dancing til dawn, and keep on dancing. Oh,for just one more night....
Supremes, Ronettes, Three degrees, et cetera go jump in the lake, Gerald has categorically stated those asian ladies who can't even sing outclassed you big. I bet Gerald was one of the first who pleaded to get jabbed.
During 1975, this song was the No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Soul Singles charts. Now, 47 years later, these girls do it with a modernized style choreography and the presentation doesn't feel old-fashioned at all. This dance group "Perfume" has done a splendid job in revitalizing an otherwise forgotten golden oldies.
Can not imagine I am still listening to 50 years ago music in lots of places in US, like Dentist clinics, old time burger meal restrautants, amazing young fans are daancing with 5 decades song. Enjoy...
Back in the day I actually danced to this song while stationed in West Germany. It was the best time of my life. West Germany 76-79, 85-88 and winter REFORGER 85. US Army Infantryman retired. This We'll Defend.
That's got to be one of the most mesmerising videos ever, the way they are all in perfect synchronisation, brilliant choreography. How 800 people don't like it is beyond me.
How could they not like it? It's addictive. The girls are cute, sexy but classy! Like you say, the choreography is amazing! The orchestra is fantastic! Some people have no taste !
Those choreography performed was not designed for this MV. The editor sourced footages from other MVs then combined on the time axis in Adobe Premiere.
Excellent song of my time, great fit of song and dance moves. A song released 13 to 14 years before Yuka, Ayano and Ayaka were even born. Beautiful ladies with great talent.
A brilliant video ,I remember dancing to this back in the 70 s nightclub the incognito in middlesbrough.they were good days I ll never forget. Happy days.
Beautiful. Absolute Genius, the pretty girls, the choreography, perfect couldn't get better..My favourite ad ever. I could watch it all day..I agree what does skin color matter?. Van M. Coy was a really underrated genius. such beautiful music. Love the sweeping strings, and the bells in the background. Who'd have thought of a flute but Van. Excellent. glad I came across this. RIP Van. Just imagine what he would have come up with today?.
congratulations PERFUME!!!! it was a great performance.excellent job!!!! and the HUSTLE,what a great masterpiece of the music!!!! thanks so much!!!!!!!!
No blue or pink hair, no tatooes, no piercing, no humongous fat butts, no botox, no half a pound of makeup on the face. Just pure plain fresh natural beauty with an enchanting smile. 3 bundles of joy that make men from everywhere hope for a better world.
I remember the first time I heard this song. It was during an assembly while I was in 4th grade in the early 70's. This version really brings a smile to my face. I went to Tecumseh Acres for the 4th grade.
Well, here I am again and another year has gone by but this video remains one of the classics in the field. It is perfect from start to finish and the girls are more beautiful than ever.
Great rendition to a classic song! I was a teenager in the '70s. Love the dancing! You're all cute, but my crush is on the cutie with the tan trench coat!
It is beautiful. Also while each beauty acts in time with the music, they act individually. They provide their individual stamp on the dance. Thanks Ladies
Wow that was sensational.. all 3 were bang in line and bang in time and never missed a beat .. I bet they loved making this video .. And those girls are gorgeous.. more from this trio please .❤
If only Van McCoy had lived to see how far his song has gone. It has transcended a whole generation and it has truly gone around the world. This song has a life a life all of its own. Van McCoy: (1940 - 1979)
So sad that a very talented musician passed away so young because of substance abuse. Until this very day, I could not forget that this masterpiece dominated the airwaves during the 70's.
This is very cool. It reminds me of the young Japanese ladies I used to see in the dance clubs in when I was stationed in Japan in the US Marines in 1984. The group is dances well, with fluid moves. They are also not half undressed. Something we have gotten away from today in the USA. This group Perfume is a refreshing smell. Go girls!
THANKS FOR BRINGING THIS OUTTA THE 70'S
70's video is so much better.
Perfume dancing to Van McCoy's The Hustle! Life does not get any better than this!
Asi es
Used to dance this song in sixth grade in P E
かわいすぎる。「かわいいは正義」とはいうけれど、ここまでかわいいと「かわいいは危険物」になってしまう。
ほんと素晴らしい、素晴らしすぎる。ポップスの名曲がさらに輝きますね。
Bravo...these ladies brings out the moves of the song...😊😊😊
и вечную молодость...
I like the silhouette of the winter town in the background, dance of 'Perfume', and the stylish props, which give it an indescribably nice atmosphere.
Shuffling AND posing.
I've seen shuffling & it's very athletic.
This video combines them both.
展開が早く目が離せない作品です。とても良いと感じました。
This is hypnotizing 😵💫
Whom ever spliced the video sequence together with The Hustle is an evil genius. I’m losing the last few brain cells I had left.
Suddenly it's the 70's again and I'm young and full of hope..... oh, and these girls are sooo lovely. Bless them!! Xxx
Don't let this piece leave RUclips. It's one of the cutest and cleverest.
Indeed ☺💜
I’m upvoting my own reply. But I think it’s justified because of the video
The request to keep in play
It is great. 3 years later and I echo.
Brilliant😌

Great music and video
The best music was then…..period!
I’m a child of the 70s. This music will ALWAYS be some of my favorites.
DISCO FOREVER!! 💃🏻 🕺🏽

You're crazy. These girls stink at choreography. Pans People in the 70s did a much better video of the Hustle.
They are not dancing to this song. Their music video was edited to fit the song. Notice the girls singing when there is no one singing
@@krakoosh1 yes! You are correct!
How could 600 be so miserable
Some are getting tired of this kind of shameless promotion of consumerism...

congratulations girls you are the best!!!👏👏👏🌹🙋🏻♂️
"Love me naturally"... "Kiss me naturally"... Great performance and lots of talent. Really good advice from the ladies of Perfume.
Damn. It was the best of times. Glad I lived-and danced- through it. Would love to go back for one long night of dancing: my shirt tucked in the back of my pants;my Calvin's soaked to the knees, and those work boots. Loved it! Danced from 11 PM to 5 or 6 AM.
My favourite disco song! Glad that I found it! Three of them all beautiful, adorable and full of tallent.
My guilty pleasure song from the 1970s, love love the dancing and choreography. Awesome.
Nice looking skinnygirls with no clue how to move to such a great classic dance song watch it again its almost funny
Buen tema
I usually have two eggs six pieces of bacon toast and a cup of coffee for breakfast but I could see where I can change my regular to have all three of these for breakfast😊
Gosh! I still remember being a dishwasher in a restaurant and playing this song over and over!!
This is when a creative choreographer meets a classic song. I know it is commercial driven but the reimaging of this song is great.
I was 10 years old back in 1975, more than 43 years ago and I saw the video back than and remember the dance very well. This video 40 years later pays a nice tribute to Disco music by 1980 I started sneaking into discos myself. What a great time to be alive.

No need for the classless twerking. This is elegant and pleasing to the eye.
Well said
Indeed !!
なんともテンションが上がる曲ですね。ウキウキしてしまいます。
Just Brilliant - simple but addictive - must have watched it a thousand times
Whoever put this together is a genius, to take the choreography from two different videos and put them together to produce this is amazing.
Remember when The Hustle came out and was all the rage here in the states. With that said.....Beautiful rendition of this Classic! Respect!
If there is a more talented trio in all of show business, I would be surprised! Thank you ladies for the all that you are and all that you do.

Never forgotten by me ,,, as always brings back "magical" nights in a Disco in 1975 !!
@@frederickhewlett9044 Yeah, though not exactly the same thing, but it certainly brings back those old memories.

The orchestra is fantastic!
Some people have no taste !
Because they aren't thinking like you at all rightnow? Just by the way😆. ☝🏻👵🏻Don't be angry with me😗😙😚!
Sorry, but the choreography just doesn't match the style of music. Otherwise it's really, really good.
@@typoagain1 Yeah spot on, typo. The choreography is a mess and needs a lot of work. The girls are cute though...
Agreed.
I just ❤️ love them. I watch them 2 ,3 tikes a day. So relaxing. This is the best version of the Hustle.
How delightful a great song with the lovely happy dancers. Thanks for this😊👍
Thanks for the 3 pretty young ladies and a fancy studio for this video.
Wonderful sound and wonderful dancing, the music and the ladies bring a big smile to my face!
Very very sweet 😅😀
Superb performance and choreography. Nice music by Dave McCoy back in the 1970's
I keep coming back to this fantastic video. Perfection personified. It's addictive.
They aren't dancing the Hustle...but I don't care...they are so so cute with the dancing that they are doing!!!!!
凄い、このステップ、フアッション、笑顔、髪型、最高です、昔を思い出します!
I love the song accompanied by the great dance choreography performed by these young women. Very well done! 😊
Those choreography performed was not designed for this MV. The editor sourced footages from other MVs then combined on the time axis in Adobe Premiere.
ダンスをしている3人は、日本のPerfumeと言う結成20年に成る、アイドルグループです。
使用しているMVは、「ねえ」と「ナチュラルに恋して」ですが、その動きを、曲に合わせて編集した作者が素晴らしいです。
Yes there movements look better on this beat than Nakata-sans over produced garbage music
The lighting is soo 70's.
Right on point!!!
A fun take on a classic! Nice production values. The choreographer should get an award. And the girls are cute and beautiful!
まさかの組み合わせ。ヴァン・マッコイの「ハッスル」は物心ついた頃から聴いてました。今年42のおっさんです。
My 2nd comment. These ladies are just having fun while dancing to this beautiful 70’s song! It’s an old favorite !! ❤️ ❤❤

Six of the most beautiful legs in the whole world.
Just found this. Awesome performance!!!!!
These women brought style & great dance moves to an already classical song. 😃💚💽💃
Wow....great song from the disco days and three very beautiful young women with synchronized choreography, what a great combination. Love it.
Fifty years later it's Still a great song to dance to, and watch others enjoy dancing to! Van McCoy, this is classic dance and positive groove music.
Haven't heard this song in ages, and it's been years since I seen or heard Perfume, so this was a pleasant Blast From The Past.
Adorably beautiful Asian mamitas, coupled with one of the best hit songs of all time!!! WELL DONE!!!
Pretty amazing if you ask me. The synchronization is unequalled in any Hollywood video I ever saw. These guys are #1 hands down.
Still bringing in potential fans. This was a great PR MV.
I could watch it over and over!

They're good looking, but this video also has style and class that you hardly see in the Western world anymore
