Hi thanks for the review. You’re actually using the HDR mode wrong. You’re not supposed to lose details. It’s because your laptop display isn’t outputting an HDR signal. You have to set that up in your laptop display if your GPU is capable of outputting that signal. RUclips can play an HDR video only if you enable it in your laptop. If not then your image will look bleached out. Anyway please have a look as I might be wrong too. Was the stand included in the price?
I just ordered a couple to use as vertical monitors. Perfect for that.... the normal screens are much too high. The 16:10 aspect ratio is also a plus for that extra width.
How are you able to go in to the individual settings. Mine just scrolls through and the only thing I can change is the volume. I’m trying to get to game mode and it won’t let me go into picture settings or any settings at all. I push the button in on the scroll wheel and it doesn’t work
I'm honestly looking for something to use when I need to multi-task. By multi-task I mean have multiple documents open side by side with MS Word, and notes app to work on my classwork. Also my job is so much easier with 2 displays. I have a MBP 14 M3 and coming from a 17" display my workflow is completely off.
Still waiting for 24 model with 4k and reasonable refresh rate (above historical 60Hz) unit from Uperfect. 27 inch is too much - pain for eyes when scrolling webpages.
@@zerocal76 That is bull.... Size doesn't matter, DPI matters. Imagine having 50" monitor with VGA resolution. BTW, my room is 5x2m, so I can afford only 24, and ONLY 4K+
@@raczyk as always - it depends. I like hight dpi and no-pixel display, so 4k is good for me. Otherwise I see pixelated fonts. For gaming - I don't play at all. For videos - beautiful, if you have enough bandwidth. For a typical web browsing - poor, because everything might look too small, but since 90% YT users only play games and surf, they will say 4k is bad for 18", but for 10% users - this will be the perfect display.
If you can. Charge this up on batter hm I wonder what if you hook up a tv stick with it and use it basically Like a tv version of an s7-9 tablet I know That surely will be cool

This was a great review! Thank you for going in depth with the settings

Oh you need to push the button, then hold that same button to change between screens
Input lag?
They don't advertise it, and they don't advertise response time either.
Your thinkpad size screen? Thanks
Is this the 2k one or the 1920*1080?
This is FHD, and there's 2K(2560x1600) version, too. I have 2K one, and this is different.
@@ken_okabe Thanks!
Yes!
Finally!
Ideal PPI for FHD and ideal size display for me a short-sighted human!
*where UFO test?!. =(
Is there a 18 inch playstation version of this monitor

Awesome review.
Can that screen work in portrait mode?
Yes you can rotate the screen portrait. But then the stand doesn't rotate so be aware of that
Can i use it as a second Monitor?
Yes
HI, Can we rotate it vertical, like portrait format ?
I like for my purpose but can’t find this specific model on amazon
Check the link in the description
TBH I dont find such prices desirable and would prefer it to be cheaper and NOT HDR.
I’m curious would I have to plug in a separate charger to have this monitor turn on?
Just saw the video and my bad I get it
Looking for a bright portable monitor to use in my car. What is better for text clarity and IPS panel panel or an oled panel.
With same resolution text on IPS panel would be more readable, because of different layouts of pixels.

27 is not enough!! I use a 32 inch 4k as my main and I don't sit that far from it. More is betterer 😁😄 lol jk for travel I think 20 inch max

is 4k not too much for a monitor which is only 18"

Hey just wonder😢if I’d be able to hook my ps5 up and get 120 hz?
Should be able to but I cannot confirm as I don't have ps5
I just hooked my ps5 into this monitor and mine says 1080p@60hz. I don’t know how to change it

No there is no battery. You need to plug it into the wall

which packback do you choose for this 18 inch screen? i’m looking for a large packback that fit this thing 🥲
It was a custom made backpack from my family. Fits a 17" laptop.
