What an awesome activity to have the Christmas tree scavenger hunt. Lee is so into it. I just love watching his curiosity grow! We have a fake tree because our strata doesn't allow real trees. But it's great because we don't have to worry about it wilting. We usually wait until Dec 1st or so to decorate and keep decor up until New Year's day or so. But this year, with being in a new second lockdown, we craved the positivity and joy so we decorated a week ago. I prefer white lights but a bunch of eclectic decorations. Our tree includes homemade creations from each of our childhoods (80s crafting!), an ornament to commemorate every year and what we experienced together that year, and we have tons of special Disney ornaments too. We could have an entire Disney tree. Our tree topper is actually an old sock monkey made by my husband's sister. He wears a little Santa hat. The tradition started the first year we lived together as a couple when we realized we had no angel/star to use. We got creative and the rest is history :-)
Used to love white lights, now colored. My daughter is a laid-off cast member and I could not even put up my regular tree....bought a mini-one. It is fake. This season is very hard for me. I am grateful for the love/positivity you always show. 💕💕💕💕grateful for you.
That’s a fun little hunt they setup there! My favorite tree was the Haunted Mansion...just because that is my favorite attraction and I am a sucker for everything Haunted Mansion. We roll with a fake tree. I love a real tree, but the ease and cleanliness of a fake tree wins. And the stronger branches are a plus. We do colored lights with an angel on top. My favorite ornaments are all my Disney ones (and we have a ton!!) and the ornaments for my daughter each year (8 so far!). We usually put the tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving and take it down after New Years. Our house is fully decorated inside and out, and I must say it feels really cozy and great!!
We have 2 trees in our house, both artificial and with stars on top. One has multi-colored lights and the other cycles between white and multi-colored lights. The big tree in the living room has all our Disney World and hallmark ornaments. The smaller tree in the basement family room is where we open gifts Christmas morning and it has my Wizard of Oz Hallmark ornaments and any non-Hallmark ornaments which are mostly ornaments we received as gifts or I've collected from my grandparents over the years. No themes really, but each ornament has a special memory that goes with it.
First year with a fake tree, not sure about it yet. We don't have a theme, lots of decorations made by the kids, a few polish hand.blown glass, a couple handed down by my mom & anything thing I find that I like!
We really liked seeing the Christmas Trees in Disney Springs last year and visiting the resorts for gingerbread houses and chocolate displays. We have an artificial tree with multicolor lights. Our tree topper is usually an angel but we can't find her this year so my daughter topped our tree with her DCP Traditions Micky Mouse ears. She worked at World of Disney Fall 2019 so I really enjoyed your stroll thru Disney Springs and seeing the trees.
I have heard of the christmas tree trail at Disney springs before, but I enjoyed seeing it in detail! My favorite of the trees might be the Lion King themed tree because it reminded me of Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge. On my last trip to Disney, we visited Sanaa for the first time when we arrived and have a memorable evening visiting the resort. Have a very merry Christmas with your family. Thank you for all you do to make these videos! I really enjoy watching them :-)
I loved the princess and the frog tree they had last year. My trees are usually traditional/classic red, gold and green with white lights. This year I’ve done a ‘disney tree’ which is very colourful and is even decorated with old magic bands. I had real trees for a couple of years as I got them discounted from work. But they’re so high maintenance and take up more space in my small apartment, so this year I’m back to my 17 year old fake tree that I got as a student. It cost me £20 (about $25) so I think it was great value for money. Similar trees now cost upwards of £100 so I’m keeping this one for as long as I can despite it missing a branch.
I love christmas!! I loved the video! At home we decorate the tree on December 8. We have red, gold and green Christmas balls. We put garlands and lights of all colors! We also have a Mickey figure and a Minnie figure, and at the top of the tree we put a star !! 😊❤️ Thank you for sharing your videos!
You guys really need to watch the tim tracker since you guys are currently living in Orlando and he does a ton of Orlando and Disney related videos. They told him that at the ladt minute thet they decided to do a fantasia tree instead of the jungle book tree so the stickers were wrong but they planned on getting new ones. Yes there is a dinosaur section in fantasia btw
Ashley, I know that the Disney resorts aren't doing the Gingerbread houses, but I just saw that The Swan (I believe) has a CHOCOLATE Santa sculpture that looked really cool. So if you decide to take the boys to look at Christmas decorations at the Disney resorts...I would definitely stop by there and check the sculpture out.

Lee did a great job. "Its Yoda"! 😁 Also, Dennis looks adorable with a collared shirt. ❤
I like this so much better than the trail of trees. It’s a fun adventure like the Easter egg hunt at Epcot. Glad y’all had a fun day!

I love that tree trail search so much more than when the trees were all clustered together. Fun day!

Love Santa and his reindeers! So cool! Love how you have Lee being so active in looking for the stickers for each tree. Keeps kids engaged!

Fantasia has a segment called "The Rite of Spring", which is all about dinosaurs!

Tim & Jen & Jackson are the best.
I mean, I think k Joe & Ashley & Lee & Dennis would enjoy the Trackers.
