NEW VIDEOS TWICE A MONTH! Come Back Every Second and Fourth Friday!!!
Yello'! I'm Ashley and welcome to my lemonade stand. Don't worry, I won't be selling you any actual lemonade here. I'm just a 30-something wife and mom who is trying to make the best of the lemons we've been handed recently. This RUclips channel was born out of a strong desire to connect with others on all kinds of topics, which all stem back to mental health and quality of life. In this community that I hope to cultivate, we skip the small talk and dive deep into meaningful and transformative conversations. These videos will ask for your active participation as together we explore, evaluate, muse, meditate, and strive to be the best versions of ourselves; for ourselves, for our loved ones, and for the greater good. It sounds like a lot, but I promise, with my personality and outlook, nothing will ever be too weighty or cumbersome. Alright, are you ready? Start by subscribing!

Such a great vlog! Those montages are exactly why the wife and I want to take a trip to the northeast this fall. And I tip my dad cap to Joe for playing catch with a football next to a river and nobody got wet : )

I feel so blessed to live on Cape Cod and I always try to get out to the beach, nature walks, walking the breakwaters, rail trail..all of it.

Ashley these houses are gorgeous but they make me laugh! For some reason the front is just a normal house but they're so LONG around the back!😂 Its like 2 or 3 more houses added behind them. They don't make houses that way down here in the South!😂

Lol most of these house were built in the 1800s and 1900s

I know!!! Those houses are a very common farm house style around here and I didn’t realize it was specific to New England. I did a quick google search right now and found the term “connected farm” which is the architecture you were seeing and yes, it seems to be most common in New England and dates back to the 17th century. It’s pretty interesting why they chose to design the houses this way. If you are interested and have a moment, I suggest you checking it out! They’re definitely not the estates of the south!! ☺️

Happy mother's day! Thank you for sharing your day. We love to adventure around Virginia. I still have quite a few places to get to, but next on my list is Jamestown. Hopefully check it off soon. NH looks beautiful!

We drove through a similar route a couple of years ago when we drove from New Brunswick to Boston, New England is an absolutely beautiful place! I love those old colonial houses! Ashley, if you love covered bridges you should come visit hartland New Brunswick, we have the longest covered bridge in the world!

Beautiful. Being from the UK I love seeing all the big old houses you have in NH, they’re so different to anything we have here. Once in my life I hope to spend a few weeks exploring New England in the fall, and I’m now more inspired than ever - especially New Hampshire.
I live in “Greater London” which is basically close enough to commute to London, but far out that it’s like any other town. I like the closeness to London - especially at the moment as the crowds are so low without tourists I can actually explore London in the quiet!

I grew up in a suburb right outside of Boston and absolutely loved being out of the city, but very close-by. Just a 15-minute train ride! Don’t hesitate to reach out when your once-in-a-lifetime trip to New England comes around!!

Hey Ashley, that was a lovely Mother's Day that you had! I put in so many miles when my kids were younger doing the Day Trips all over NC, I lived for windows down and summer smells coming through while I listened to the kids chatting in the back seat. The best of times.
I live in Concord, NC, and I wonder if President Bartlett said Con Cord because Beth Troutman (who was born and raised here) worked on The West Wing and might have influenced that pronunciation? On the other hand, people here get mighty riled up if you say Can kerd or Con Kerd here. Yeesh!

Looks like a wonderful adventure! I'm looking forward to when we can explore a bit further from home again. Feeling a bit of cabin fever. But I love where we live and there are plenty of beautiful spots here to explore. And travel isn't far off. I get my 1st dose of vaccine in just a few days!!! PS your boys are so sweet and are lucky to have you as a mom (and the wonderful Joe as their dad). Happy Mother's Day! ❤

    1) I loved seeing the old homes and ESPECIALLY the churches!
    2) Last year I knew I had to figure something out since going out was not going to happen with the pandemic. I decided we would explore parts of our area (4 county area) that we have never been before. Those drives have become some of my best memories. They very well may not have happen had things not been as they were last year. We did take a break but we are already making plans to start up again and also start expanding further out!
    3) Southern Illinois has so many beautiful areas! We are part of the Shawnee National Forest and have so many parks within it! These include some beautiful scenic views!

I just graduated from New England College in Henniker! (I currently live in Keene) I was cautious about going there at first for college, but I loved the small town feel and the small classes too. Its also so beautiful in the fall with the foliage.

You just missed me in Claremont! If you decide to go to Dartmouth and want to see more covered bridges, there is one in Cornish to VT that I believe is the longest in the US. Happy Mother’s Day! Looks like a great way to spend it.

Lee is so grown up! it's so sweet to see Lee and Dennis together and to see the bond all 4 of you have. Thank you so much for your videos; they've really helped me to escape a little bit and to appreciate the little things in life.
I'm from NJ and I love just taking random drives like this! I'm from a more urban/suburban area and it's nice to be able to drive about an hour and wind up in farmland and the woods. NH is a place I hope to get to soon, and your videos are pushing me more to do it!

That looked like a great day. We went to a state park in the fall and it reminded me of that area you stopped to picnic. Quieter area and enjoying a slower pace for a few hours was great. If you need a Starbucks recommendation I think you’d love the Honey Citrus Mint Tea, also known as the medicine ball. It’s a mix of green and peach tea with steamed lemonade. It’s amazing if you’re not feeling so hot either from a cold or allergies. I actually got the teas to make it at home all the time now.
