Outland is probably my favourite continent/expansion region in WoW. When I was a kid back in 07 watching my dad play his Dwarf hunter and quest through Hellfire, Zangarmarsh, Terrokar, and Nagrand was the most fascinating thing ever. Then later in 07 I got my own account. Because of that, TBC even though I never played it while it was current content (classic doesn't count), it has a special place in my heart. When Wrath hit I managed to stumble my way to 80 on both my rogue and death knight as an 8-9 year old after my dad got me TBC and Wrath xpacks for Christmas. Outland was the best leveling zones to me and still is even in Retail with all the xpacks afterwards.
I love hearing stories like this! One summer in 07 or 08 me and my brother joined a private realm when we we kids. In this realm, rare drops were almost guaranteed so us and everyone else on the realm were wandering around outland in legendary armor. That was such a fun summer and i always think about it when i return to the outland!
