Another great video. Ireland looks beautiful but very wet! Hope you got back OK despite Ciaran, I guess we will find out later today. Guernsey was dreadful but we came through. Look forward to watching later today. Alan and Sha Motoringmasons
The Kilkenny Aire JP Cullen across the road is the butchers , some people pay there. His involved in it. When his not open people put money in letter box you showed. It’s well worth the €10 for a safe night parking with facilities to empty gray & black water. I just noticed aswell the toilets and showers in portumna use up units . So I didn’t mean to say it’s free 😂 but only 2 units. But it’s to keep undesirables out. . There is a few waterway Ireland Aires around . Ireland is improving In more Aires .
@@HermanHitstheRoad ya I did write another comment underneath this one saying it takes units I forgot it was so long since we where there, it has to be done otherwise the toilets and showers would be abused. Ye might have noticed the cameras all over the place there, there is a low one on the way in to get reg numbers. This place used to be overrun by ( undesirables ) they nearly ruined the place. But thank god it’s now looked after by the county council. Ye might have noticed a man collecting peoples bags of rubbish every evening. He’d call to each motherhome ,
I would have to remove the towing ball to hit the maximum length with Nessa, as she is 6.57m in length, and taking the tow ball off drops us below the 6.5m limit. Done it on a few ferry trips to save a few quid. Would be nice to have more places like the Mariner over here. We do have the Council run Car Parks in Northumberland that you have to book in advance, no Electric or water form them and one of them at Beadnall Bay has a toilet. It looks like you have my Nessa parked next to you in Kilkenny, but it wasn't as she is still stuck in our lay by where she has been for the last 5 weeks or so. She will be getting picked up on the 20th on November to hopefully fix her Gearbox problem and have an oil leak sorted and while they are at it change the rear shocks.
Nice vlog guys. Thanks for sharing
Our pleasure, @grumpybear3229. Thanks for watching

Thanks @motoringmasons 👍👍. We visited Ireland back in September so we never met Storm Ciarán.
Good, we certainly did here in Guernsey!@@HermanHitstheRoad
Yes, I heard about that. I hope it didn't cause too much damage?
Just a few slates@@HermanHitstheRoad
I have heard of holy water but the modern holy sanitiser is something new 😇
It blesses all germs including covid 🤣

Yeah, there seem to be more aires in Ireland than the whole of UK but they are private businesses rather than council run
@@HermanHitstheRoad they are better than no Aires .
Love a rainbow. The Abbey looked stunning from the outside. What a rebel you are videoing and photographing where you shouldn’t. 😂🤣😂 Take care Gill
Hahaha LOL. Thanks Gill 👍👍
No the showers are free in Portumna . You need the water ways Ireland card to open the doors of the toilets & showrs . It’s to keep undesirables out.
So the card then only allows you two showers then? The credit did definitely come off the card, @pamelajohnnysmotorhomejourneys

Great video as always - I think the general theme on your current tour is it’s wet!😂
We just had a little bit of rain, @bathroomjon1 🤣🤣
Herman rocking, A storm? Yeah? I guess that’s your story and you’re sticking to it? 🤣🤣🤣
Yes, it was very rocky, @JohnnyBurr 🤣🤣
Great video. You and Zoe have a lovely sense of humour which makes your videos fun to watch.
Thanks @carolynandcocohaywood2638 👍👍
We're glad you enjoy our videos 🥰
Holy sanitizer Batman!
That's why Batman and Robin wear gloves, @philiptabberer9796 🤣🤣
Ireland. Green, wet and very expensive.
Even a local told us that Ireland is expensive compared to the UK 🤷♂️
@@HermanHitstheRoad I would spend months there every year, no more. Portuguese coast and Galicia in Spain.

@@HermanHitstheRoad hopefully as I don’t like having her not in my Drive as it does not make getting my wife’s car out of her drive very easy.
