like Soriano 0-2 gets the split finger almost in the dirt and hit a tater. He was either super freakish athletically or he was on the juice. 40-40 2nd baseman aren't common

Mad respect for this comment. Sox in '13 were pretty awesome too -- even as a Yankee fan I won't soon forget the sight of Ortiz going up and down the dugout literally willing the team to pull itself together and beat the Cardinals. Fantastic baseball cinema, that whole series.

Phillies would have beat the Yanks if Manuel didn't blow it....
Yanks started CC in game 4 on three days rest...Philly should've did the same with Cliff Lee, who was unhittable
Instead they went with Joe Blanton
Lee won game 5...never got a chance to pitch again
      The rest is histiry

cliff lee should've got 3 starts in the series.
if he goes on game 4 the series is the Phils...Manuel cost the city a championship..fuckin Skankees started Sabathia on three says rest..its an obvious counter move..Philly was the best team that year too

+Austin Helin yanks had a great team yes but they were smarter.. they knew they had a horse in cc and rode it...Cliff Lee was unhittable at that point in his career especially in postseason...he baffled the yanks in game 1 and wouldve done it 2 more times...instead the idiot starts Joe Blanton in a series they were losin 2-1...STUPID....

If the Yankees and Phillies were in the same division the Phillies would've been 10 games out of first at the end. How exactly were they better?

@Austin Phillies fans did not die out actually after this series loss. We sold out every game in 2010 and 2011, and most in 2012. After about 2012, a lot of our fans pretty much disappeared after that.

Phillies were not as good as the Yankees. It was cliff lee and pray for rain. The Yankees had the better staff, better bullpen, and I give their lineup the edge as well. How were the Phillies better exactly lol
