Certain grape varieties like heat and grow well is Arizona the trade was actually brought by Father Kino when he established the missions crazy to think how one person's action can last for generations
Thanks for the video tour, Mike. Nicely done. Just curious - did you end up buying a place there? My wife and I were down there from Tucson this past Saturday (March 12) on the last day of our vacation before heading back to Canada. We think we might go back for a longer stay next winter to get a better feel for it, then might look at real estate if we like it as much as we think we would.
I have not yet bought a place there but I still want to, I need to wrap up some things in my life first. I think it's a great place to live considering the cost of living and proximity to a larger city less than an hour away. The only drawback is that it's way too hot in the summer, but I plan to do a lot of traveling then.
Thanks for taking the time to reply, Mike. I hear you about the summer heat. If we end up buying something down there we'll only be there in the winter, likely November through late March. Who knows, perhaps we'll bump into each other some day at one of the restaurants you mentioned in your video. All the best.Steve
Winter weather is mild, highs generally in the 60s, sometimes down to 50, sometimes up to the low 70s. Nights get down into the 30s. Not that much rain. Pretty much like a lot of AZ.
Love this I've been to all those places on visits!! Love. The spice store as well.
I love the area. Would still like to move there some day!
Thank you, Mike!
Thanks for watching!
Love the missions in that area.

I've visited Tubac for 30 years, We've always pronounced Tubac " Too-Back ".
Right. Your pronunciation is probably more common.
What is winter like in Tubac?
