Tie-Dye Pattern : Rainbow-Wag Super Spiral instructions.
1 - T-Shirt has been washed and soaked in soda ash (1 cup soda ash per 1 gallon of warm water) for 20 minutes then spun out in the washer so the material is damp but not dripping wet.
2 - Spiral up the t-shirt and secure with masking tape
3 - Choose your dye colors. For this project is chose Eggplant, Turquoise, Lemon Yellow, Deep Orange, Chinese Red, and Grey on the back.
4 - Allow your project to sit undisturbed for 24 hours then rinse starting with cold water to remove the soda ash. Increase water temperature to warm/hot while squeezing the material to remove the excess dye.
5 - Remove the tape and open your new Rainbow-Wag Super Spiral!
6 - Wash t-shirt by itself with hot water (I use Synthrapol Textile Detergent) without fabric softener and hang dry for the first time. After that wash and dry like normal.
7- HAVE FUN and as always...HAPPY TIE DYEING!
