If you don't have access to someplace with a longer range, you should look into NRL22. Its a lot of fun and can be shot on much shorter ranges. Could also be a way to help keep some skills sharp until you can shoot centerfire.
Good point! I shot 22 before getting into center-fire and it was definitely a lot of fun. I've been thinking about looking at the match schedules again but just haven't. Thanks for the nudge!
