Creci escuchando está música ( en los 70) tenía unos tíos y primos mayores que la escuchaban.
En esos años habían pasado acontecimientos extraños en el liceo donde ellos estudiaban,y en protesta se tomaron el establecimiento y ponían esa música,y a mí me encantó.

They were contemporary, pretty sure they were influenced by each other. Both are quite amazing, in my opinion. At the time I didn't know how good our music was.

I tend to think that ABBA was influenced by The New Seekers and Middle of the Road. TNS mastered the art of the video song as well, copied so successfully by ABBA. Interesting question.
