This is a demonstration of a low budget light box which is an essential tool in art classrooms that teach skill based art education. This simple design, once created, takes less then five seconds to assemble and disassemble. It stores completely flat and although suited for anyone who wants to control their light source while drawing, it is perfect for classroom use. It can be created for $1 using simple supplies. Teachers can make this box themselves or have their students make them. Detailed instructions on how to create this box can be downloaded for free at the following link: www.davinciinit...

The best light box that I've seen for a still-life setup. I will definitely explore your other videos.

    All very good.
However, the little clip-on light shown here did not create anything like the light and shadow effect seen in the sample drawing on the easel.

Wow really efficient. I wonder if you could change the bulb in that light tho. Either way, thanks for putting this awesome idea out there.

What would you change the bulb to?

@@thedavinciinitiative5045 The bulb seems too bright, like it washes out the objects. But this is a clever light box: affordable, easy to store, it's genius

Thanks for the info on a cheap, easy shadow box. Are art classes only 45 minutes long??
