I just stumbled upon your channel 😁, excellent content and presentation 👌. I have just come back to motorcycling having just retired. I had no idea what I wanted with my limited budget, but when a good mate told me he was selling his RE Interceptor, my eyes opened wide. I've never, in my 40 years riding, ever ridden a RE, but oh my goodness, what a lot of bike for that price point. Mine also has quite a lean on the side stand so I've fitted an ice hockey puck, which not only stands it up a bit, but also gives a bigger footprint if using the stand on grass. I have a huge smile on my face every time I go out, and the bike really does turn heads. Thank you for taking the time to share your adventures with us 🎉
@@theoldhobbit3640 Thankyou for the lovely comments 😊 Welcome back to motorcycling and what a perfect choice of bike you’ve chosen, royal Enfield has really upped its game on quality and build on their machines. Enjoy the riding and stay safe 😊
I just found your channel , I’m Watching from Australia. I’m considering this bike and I thank you for the little things you addressed that no others have mentioned like the TFT black and white screen in different light , the indicators etc . Will go see your other videos now . Glad I stumbled across you
The new Himalayan is an improvement in many ways over the 411 but there is something special that I can't put my finger on about the 411. I have decided to hang onto my 411 in the short term as it feels like "home" after riding other bikes with the little mods I've made to suit me . The money to change and equip the 452 to the same level as my 411 would be quite high as resale values for the 411 are really low at the moment with many dealers here not interested in PX. I found the same issues on the 452 (side stand leaning too far and unable to tell if the indicators were still on)
Thanks for watching, I do agree with you on the 411; it does have more charm 😊 and once you’ve made them your own they become part of the family 😁 I’ll certainly be holding on to mine for a good while yet !
@@philliplum3845 many thanks ! Definitely worth paying them a visit, there’s a great cafe there too 😊 unfortunately I didn’t manage the workshop visit as I went down with covid over the weekend and felt terrible ! I’ll be sure to pop on in there though and show you all what it’s all about 😁
@jeremyatkinson4976 it was a demo bike and it wouldn't have had been fair to take it off road. I have no doubts on its capabilities though judging just how good mine is on the green lanes. The himalayan is excellent both on and off road in my opinion 😊
@@jeremyatkinson4976 There is nowhere to ride offroad where I live. It is not an offroad bike, it is an adventure bike to ride wherever you want. Offroaders have much higher ground clearance. Non of the riders I know that have one ride offroad because you cant. The potholes make up for no offroad though 🙂

A great review of a smashing bike. The Cotswolds are looking stunning too. A jolly good dose of happiness 🐝

What an incredible shot you got of that train pulling off!! Just beautiful! Trains and REs are just the right combo you need for a channel! Love it!
There’s something so special about steam trains, I was so lucky to see this one !
Great honest review, full of the sort of information we want about owning and riding the bike in the real world. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Great review and video was well done. Your scenery is very different from mine in Australia and was lovely to look at. Thanks for sharing your video.
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it 😊
Another great one.. Heard of whatsonian, must pop in and have a look...
The Bideford workshop idea is fantastic.
Ride safe... 😊

Second service after only 2900 miles?.is that normal
It was three miles short of 3000, service is every 3000 on the Himalayan 🙂
Pointless useless review' as it wasn't taken offroad
@jeremyatkinson4976 maybe if you watched all the way through you'd understand why it didn't get taken off road 😊
Oh dear, I never ride mine offroad, what is your problem FFS H8R
@@yawningcat I understand why but it's an offroad vehicle. I wouldn't judge my Series One by it's road misbehaviour.
