Cavapoos are known for being finicky eaters. You should keep a can of pumpkin in a (can) not the ones for sweet potato pie. This helps to settle their stomachs. There is a good book on How to potty train your dog in 7 days. As a puppy, you should not let him roam around free. The crate is your friend, it keeps him safe, they do love shoes. Don't leave dog food out all day get him on a schedule. On potty training, get him to eat or drink, and after 15 mins carry him outside, and keep him on a leash if no potty, take him in no playing, and for the next 10 mins carry him out (this prevents him from going before you're outside. No fun stuff, only keep repeating go potty. When he does it's treat time! Enjoy!

Congratulations TT and Jake. Your puppy is absolutely adorable. You will have much success with him. As i commented before poodles are extremely intelligent and personable. And very easy to train. You may want to teach him how to ring a little bell when he has to go. It is easy to train them how to do this. I am excited to see how he develops. Also, you may want to start brushing his teeth with a pet toothbrush so that he gets used to it so he will not have dental problems. Best of success with your fur baby. I always kiss my animals and I saw TT do this. You will be the perfect dog parents. 🤍🤍

Hey Jake & TT. Since you mentioned breeder, I assume that you paid for your puppy. No criticism here but there are so many dogs waiting to love and be loved back in the shelters. I’m totally thinking about getting a dog and I think I will be going to the shelter to get one. There are so many dogs there waiting for a second chance.
