Best Homemade Putter? Not a Chance. Best 3D Printed Putter? Doubt It. Surprisingly Good? Definitely.

In this video I build a golf putter. Why? I like golf. Now onto the details. I decided I wanted to build something that I would want to keep. I thought about using my CNC to mill a putter head out of aluminum (possible future plan), but I wanted to test a quick design on the 3D printer first. I used Inland PETG filament for the putter head. PETG is extremely strong and I did not notice any markings on the club head after dozens of practice putts. I used a four foot threaded ⅜ inch rod for the shaft and a solid wood curtain rod for the grip. I thought this putter would be useless, so I built it somewhat quickly. The finished results surprised me and now I will be trying this club at the golf course next time I go. I am extremely happy with the feel of the putter.
